MK Will there be a witch/queen in seven dwarfs mine train?

I'd bet the witch was sent off to the collection they are using for events like D23. Someone finally woke up and realized they could charge admission to see gutted parts of extinct attractions vs. a one-time profit by selling it.

Not particularly, but I do remember a few people saying that the figures were being sold or collected within a day of the ride closing.

Some of it was sent to Disneyland for planned queue enhancements to their snow white ride, but I dont know what came of that at this point.

So...perhaps a cameo from the witch is not far off....

I was going to make a comment here about a certain president but then thought better of it...

Yes I believe we will get a glimpse of the evil queen, or the "beggar woman" at some point on Seven Dwarfs' Mine Train. Don't know yet if this is in the form of homage (say part of a mural painting, the queen looking into her magic mirror in the load area), or if she is in a show scene (say the beggar woman leering at you in half-darkness in a forest scene, holding a bright red apple!).

For me, enjoying 7DMT will depend on how fast those cars move through show scenes, I have this feeling if the speed is variable (computer controlled to be slower or faster during the 'show' sections - probably can't slow down coaster sections because of physics!) that they may have to crank that "show-section" speed up to max to increase capacity. Being smack in the middle of Fantasyland (with the entrance where Dumbo used to be) this should be the not-miss and most popular FL attraction for a long time, so keeping capacity high is a problem here unless load process is somehow as or more efficient than BTMR (remains to be seen).

Hoping 7DMT brings Fantasyland back into a kind of balance but not sure yet. The center of gravity for many (with kids of the proper height at least) will shift far toward 7DMT, but Peter Pan throngs have never been light, so 7DMT may just end up taking some crowds away from TLM, IASW, and even more from Dumbo & Barnstormer.
Just think after 2 hours in that 7DMT line, how many families will crawl back toward that Circus area?! They're going to go look for a meal or their hotel for a break.
Might raise Pooh's popularity, since it is near the exit of 7DMT :)

PS - after a long wait for 7DMT I'm going to be asking "where's the nearest restroom?" Behind Cheshire Cafe or Belle's Village?

The mine scene is along a fairly long flat area of track so they will be able to slow the cars down there. Recently someone also brought up the possibility that the cars will stop at the top of the first lift hill for a small show scene there.

I would love to have her in the queue chatting with guests passing by, maybe showing off the apples and asking if we've seen a cottage around. That would be awesome.

I think there is truth to this as on my last visit the friday when that insider said they were finishing up (I believe it was friday) I saw them working on the hill except near the first mini drop to the left of the coaster track.

They were working on this show scene except on the bunny hill before the big hill and to the right of this image and deep into the right. When they would drill you could see sparks that illuminated that area and made it seem like a tiny cavern or crevice went deeper into that section on the right of the image. If the witch was going on somewhere maybe its there?
