Will Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson be Immortalized in Jungle Cruise Attractions?

I like this casting. I think Dwayne Johnson does well with some tongue-in-cheek risque comedy. I can see why he wouldn't be good for a Disney kiddie / family movie, but tongue-in-cheek is exactly what the Jungle Cruise is. If they go PG and let in a little more suggestive humor, I think it's good casting.

Also it will be funny if this happens he will then have yet another attraction that involved him in Opposing theme park a few miles down...First it was playing the Park Ranger in Disaster

And now he will be in Fast & The Furious: Supercharged

No? If not blockbusters then what are they meant to be? I assure you, Disney intends them the be blockbusters. After all, a film only has to make over 100 million to be considered a blockbuster.
Actually to be a blockbuster a film need only have a budget of over 100 million... Doesn't matter how much money the film actually makes, though the studios always want them to make as much as possible. For some reason the term has started to be used in terms of how much money a movies grosses, the term was originally one that described the amount of money a money studio was investing in the movie as most movies had budget of 50 million or less... I doubt JC will be a blockbuster, Dwayne isn't commanding that much of a salary and a concept for a Jungle Cruise movies doesn't sound like it will be all the expensive to make... Unless it is going to be some period piece with an abundance of CGI... then the costs would quickly go up.

The Rock is a competent actor who is good with action and comedy, and while not the biggest draw, his films do well enough. It should be noted that since he joined the Fast & Furious franchise, the films have gone from "stupid" to "stupid, but the filmmakers are now acknowledging that it's stupid and are embracing that" and it's WORKED.

Furious 7 made a BILLION AND A HALF DOLLARS. How is that not successful?
It would have made the money without him since it was an existing franchise and Paul Walker had recently died. Sorry, guys. Didn't mean to make so many people upset. Didn't realize I had walked into The Rock fanzone.

Ahh, it makes sense. You don't like Rock so you'll ignore his success in Hollywood. I'm not a "Rock fanboy" and I only like 3 movies he's ever been in but I won't ignore what he's done.

He was in Fast Five and that was 2 years before Paul Walker had passed. A for effort though.

I absolutely love this idea/thread! I would definitely be up for some 'Rock' based puns being added to the ride - the suggestions on here are perfect. It sounds like a few of you would make excellent JC Skippers!

planet earth is the rock's fan zone.

in all seriousness, the rock is legitimately one of, if not the biggest, movie star in the world right now. he's also arguably the biggest box office draw walking. i assume you just hate the wrestling business, thus you look down on him? i guess that's you're right, but it doesn't make it accurate.

No need to actually modify the ride. Just add a line to the skippers' repertoire: "And I know you're all eager to see the star of the new Jungle Cruise film, The Rock" - boat goes around corner - "well there it is!"

did we just become best friends? YUP!

I don't know what things cost in the movie business, but couldn't location shooting make it expensive? And any movie with The Rock must have explosions.
