Will Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson be Immortalized in Jungle Cruise Attractions?

He's been in a couple of flops, but most of his action/comedy popcorn flicks do quite well.
They aren't meant to be blockbusters.
No? If not blockbusters then what are they meant to be? I assure you, Disney intends them the be blockbusters. After all, a film only has to make over 100 million to be considered a blockbuster.

You don't think there are tiers to film releases? By that logic, the independent film and rom com directors should just give up.

I don't think the Rock will get an appearance in the JC attraction. There probably wont be the continued sequels to drive the decision to put him in. At the most the skipppers might play on his name as they move through their ride speil, thats the most he could hope for. Depp got his animatronic because of the continued success and money making he brought to Disney as Sparrow. His successful portrayal as a pirate had guests looking for him so Disney added him in. The Rock needs more profitability and recognition to get him in as a desired park figure.

They will probably just make him a rock

By who's standard? Considering the average budget for modern films, making $100 million at the box office may not even break even.

I'm pretty sure they knew a remake of Escape From Witch Mountain wasn't going to do Star Wars numbers.

I sure hope not. Can't stand him. Nothing against the guy personally, but I cannot sit through his "acting".
Normally I'd be thrilled for a Jungle Cruise movie but if he's in it, no thanks.

Turned me off Moana too. Granted, although it looks stunning, the movie itself so far isn't appealing to me anyway. He doesn't help though.

Race to Witch Mountain was surprisingly not terrible. Of course, that's one of those movies I don't want to watch again for fear I'll see all the flaws the second time around and realize it's very, very stupid. Like Signs. "Wait, the aliens are weak against water, so they invade a planet that's 80% water?!?"

With the sucess of the AA drivers at Universal's Skull Island ride, Disney is replacing the live skippers with an AA version of the Rock. Some of them will be shirtless to increase the female appeal of the ride.

Well, at least he hasn't taken over any other rides....
