Will Disney close DHS?

I know Disney kept DCA open during it's renovation. But it sounds like DCA was a different story. DHS has 4 or 5 operating attractions. Why keep it open during all this construction? Couldn't they theoretically finish faster without guests in the park daily?
- sorry if this was already talked about in another thread-

It will not close. Theoretically, it would be easier. But it will not close.

Let me be abundantly clear and in no uncertain terms.

NO.

Yeah, but MK doesn't only have 4 or 5 operating attractions.
DHS is only running with two less attractions for a another month or so. Frozen replaced Idol and they closed Backlot and Sparrow. Animations replacement comes on line in a bit. The rest of the closures are rumored. Honestly, having fireworks the past 4 months at DHS use to be unheard of. People are in this mindset that every attraction is closed.

The right argument has always been that even before the closures was there enough to do.

Since you view WDW as 4 parks it's not a big deal. I think at some point Disney should offer some sort of special deal though. Perhaps any ticket PH or not used at DHS first become a PH for at least one other park. I don't think they should expect anyone to spend a whole day in that park. That would also create an incentive to get people to the park and spread the crowds out.

Just imaging one whole park closed down. That would funnel that many more guests to the other parks and restaurants. With the park numbers that Disney is attracting at DHS now, imagine the lengthy lines that would produce, the unhappy guests not being able to dine, and guests complaints about having one park less to enjoy. They'll keep it open and guests will just work their way around the closed areas.

I disagree to a point on One Man's Dream. I was at DHS on August 28th and on Labor Day. The only thing rumored about One Man's Dream is the date, but there was more stuff gone from the Attraction between August 28th and Labor Day.

I didn't see nothing being replaced that was gone from the Display area of One Man's Dream.

Disney's shouldn't close DHS at this point. While Disney is closing attractions there, it isn't too an extreme. I count shows shows as attractions.

DHS getting Star Wars Launch Bay by the end of the year is going to help the park and that is no rumor based on what I saw with my own eyes. Toy Story Midway Mania's 3rd track is going to be opening in 2016 within the same year stuff in Streets of America is going away. That shows Disney is trying to keep some balance in the park.

The other thing is while the Osborne Lights are gone after 2015, I expect Disney to do something else to replace that Christmas Entertainment at DHS like a Fireworks show.

It's a funny thing...we just came back and my 16 year old stated that DHS is one of his favourite parks. I was a little surprised but found it interesting. It may get a lot worse in the months and years to come and his opinion may change but for now there is still some value for some. That being said I can't wait for the improvements to start and more importantly FINISH. I am quite excited for what they have in store.

There really would be nothing easier about closing the park for construction since most of the construction is slated to take place along the periphery.

Why would you expect disney to replace Osbourne with another holiday attraction? They didn't do it at Epcot. Just wondering...
