Hi everyone,

I am planning on booking a trip to wilderness lodge and wanted to ask why its special to people, what is your favourite thing about the Lodge and would you recommend it. What is the atmosphere like in the evenings?

Thanks so much all

There are so many things for us.

1. Just the atmosphere of the enitre resort
2. the location - taking the boat to MK
3. Never once have we had a bad CM here (stayed here 5 time so far)

We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge twice the lobby is breathtaking. Other resorts you have to go to one building to the next to get to food courts or restaurants etc ...Wilderness Lodge everything is in one building.

  1. The lobby
  2. Taking a boat to MK
  3. Restarants are excellent in resort. Artist Point is quiet and romantic. Kids loved Whispering Canyon, (horse races were fun, don't ask for Ketchup at breakfast time)
  4. Kids loved the bunk beds, unless you have more than two, then it would be tough I think.
  5. For a Deluxe Resort...really can't beat to price. Haven't stayed at the AKL, which has a similar price, only been for dinner.

The lobby is absolutely amazing. The rooms are very nice. The restaurants are great. The pool is wonderful. My favorite thing to so the last time we were there was to sit on the balcony while DS was napping. We had a courtyard view and the room was at the lobby end. So sitting out there I could hear the river running, it was quite relaxing.

A definite bonus when it is pouring outside.

If I could pay for a deluxe resort, it would be at the top of my list. It's a beautiful resort and having everything in one building is really nice (whether it's raining or just really hot). It's one of the few places in WDW where I would be pretty content to just go sit for a little bit (normally, I'm to busy trying to get everything in).

2- Love the stream trickling into the pool.
3- Love the salads at Roaring Forks.
4- Love how lodge looks like a bear when traveling back from FW at night.
5- Love how it feels like home!

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING HOTEL and absolutely recommandable.
Top theming, an awesome, breathtaking lobby and a very short bus ride to the MK (less than 5 min). Beautifully detailed rooms. Take a courtyard room, they have a beautiful sight from the balcony over the landscaped courtyard.
There is only one reason why we will stay at the Polynesian next time, because we want to experience all major disney-resorts.

The Wilderness Lodge is an amazing resort...the entire atmosphere is really neat. I especially enjoyed the boat rides to the Magic Kingdom, the view of the lake from the rooms, and the geyser. I can't wait to check in next week!
