Wilderness lodge to fort wilderness

Hey everyone! I apologize in advance if this topic has been covered before- we have an upcoming trip to wilderness lodge planned . We have two small children who would love a splash area at the pool which I know WL doesn't have.. Would it be reasonable to use the walkway to fort wilderness pool and splash area? Does the walkway enter near the pool or is it far?

Pretty sure that WL has their own kiddie pool.

Wilderness Lodge does indeed have their own kiddie/wading pool. We used it when we stayed there in 2011. In any case, pool hopping is not officially allowed, although if you were determined to do it, I'm sure you could get away with it.

This...plus the fact that it's going to be an awfully LONG walk from WL pool to the FW pool.

It's quite a long walk for little kids from WL to FW. They do have a kiddie pool at WL though.

I agree, the path is quite a distance to go just for the pool; once you get there, you still have to go halfway through FW to get to the pool. Plus, it's not officially allowed. FW has occasionally been checking pool guests to make sure they are staying at FW during busy periods recently (I'm not sure if this became permanent or just during high demand times).
I agree, the splash area at FW is great though.

Thanks for everyone's help! Didn't realize pool hopping wasn't allowed to FW- we will just stay at WL!
