I thought this was an interesting article and shows you what some good photography can do. :)

Why You Should Never Trust The Photos Hotels Post Online

Hotels aren't always completely honest when it comes to the photos they post on their websites.

This latest collection of "photo fakeouts" serves as a cautionary tale for anyone planning a vacation and relying solely on hotel websites. Some of these photo "upgrades" are so egregious, you'll think you are looking at pictures of two completely different properties.

That's why I never book for more than 1 night at an unknown hotel.

Interesting. Some of those are not bad at all, but some are terrible. The above ground pool was a bad one.

This reminds me of a Judge Judy episode. (yes, that's my guilty pleasure, lol) The plaintiffs had responded to an online vacation condo rental for "A 1 bedroom, oceanfront condo" The ad had photos of the beach/ocean from the balcony, and the interior. The condo ended up being a rundown studio with a view of the parking lot.

The defendant replied to the accusation of being untruthful - "The complex is oceanfront, and I never said the pictures were taken in MY condo. They were taken onsite - elsewhere."

The plaintiffs ended up moving to a different condo for the remainder of their trip, and the defendant had to refund their money.

Wait...you guys think people would do that? Just go on the Internet and tell lies?

*Credit goes to Reddit for that comment, it is not a Joe Robinson original.*
