LUCKY you! I have never seen snow, and it's definitely on the Life List.

And before you tell me about the storms, the shoveling, and the headaches about Snow, I will trade you in a second if that meant escaping Florida's constant heat and HURRICANES.:(

I would pose the question now, "Why is it 90 degrees in SoFla in October?, but that is no longer the case. It's overcast, windy and 63 degrees out. Perfect.:D

Hurricane Katrina and then a month later, and worse, Wilma.:fork::(

Two weeks without power, and some roof damage. We were really lucky though.

(I actually wanted to go BACK to school...)

And yeah, that storm you had looked like hell. :(

Here you go!

Touché.

I guess both areas have downfalls.

It was bad. To make it even worse,I had a family funeral the morning after. Half the roads were closed. Not fun.

I will never forget that all my family was in out basement(finished) on the pullout couch and hearing the CRACK of the trees breaking and the SMASH if them hitting the ground.

Owch. :( Yeah, that would have been bad.

I remember siting in the dark and in the heat, in my parents bedroom, and hearing the low roar and hum of the constant wind, and bangs of debris flying around.:dazzle::(

I'll take snow and ice any day over a hurricane. Luckily, here in our little corner of SW Pennsylvania, we very rarely get any kind of extreme weather. And usually, if you don't like the weather in the morning, it will change to something else by the afternoon!!

You have history, architecture, whale watching, scenic views, and the Red Sox. I have heat, humidity, a Governor on the brink of skin cancer, and the Marlins. Please, learn to enjoy the snow flurries.

Good reasons to go to college and choose a career that allows for travel or relocation!

We just spent 11 days in 90+ temps in Florida.
It's in the 40s here in Philly today. I hate it.
I'll take Florida's heat and humidity any day over Philly's winters.

It was 29 this morning when I woke up. Think it is up to 40 now. I am froze to death! I hate winter so bad I cannot wait to be in the Sunshine state in a couple of weeks but I know when I get home I will be so depressed to be back the cold. And ya... that global warming thing sure did give us a mild summer here and now right into winter it seems.
