I have always thought that it adds a somewhat tacky element to a very ornate and well themed area. The grandeur of the street is diminished by the Hat. I think that the Hat is a very nice structure, but it is terribly misplaced within the park.
Question.Has it always been there ? I've read many people don't like it for various reasons.Myself opinion,I don't mind it.What would you replace it with.Maybe a statue of " Steamboat Willie "

YES YES AND UM LET ME THINK YES!! Stamboat Willie not too big as to block the view would be perfect and a perfect fit for the theme of the park as always genius!Question.Has it always been there ? Ok,get the picture.Funny thing is I visited Graums Chinese theatre at Los Angeles, loved the hand prints and the walk of stars but the area was as sleazy as hell.Every second shop was selling sex stuff.
Come on Britt. You've got Fantasmic,Beauty & the Beast,Indy,Lights,Motors,Action,Little Mermaid,Excellent live shows,Then you've got Toy Story Midway,Star tours,ToT,Rock n Roll coaster, and what about Starring Rolls for that ultimate cupcake. And before you leave thro the gate, don't forget your photo under the Hat.I don't like Hollywood studios at all, personally or its theming...I don't mind the hat.
The best part of DHS is the front gate
