I don't think that is it at all.safety purpose's
I don't think that is it at all.
Other company's have great safety records but can get the job done in a timely manner.
I think it has more to do with trying not to hinder the everyday operation of the theme park and at the same time stretching the cost out over several reporting periods.
Slow compared to what? This is a legitimate question. I know there is attention to detail, but it all just seems so slow.
Most other companies aren't dealing with unique ride attractions that, if mistakes are made, can cause danger to their customers.
They also have more space in which to build, Disney are confined to smaller spaces.
Most of it however will be attention to detail. Disney are the best when it comes to this!
How about The new Harry Potter section opening sometime in 2014.Slow compared to what?
Exactly. Compared to what? Each construction project, anywhere not just Disney, takes whatever time it takes.Slow compared to what?
Ok, what from Disney would you like to compare it to?How about The new Harry Potter section opening sometime in 2014.
Uni does. They have the same safety requirements, build stuff with much more detail, put in cooler rides...and do it faster. Most other companies aren't dealing with unique ride attractions that, if mistakes are made, can cause danger to their customers.

NFL being complete vs Diagon Alley being complete. Are they going to take the same amount of time of time to build? The projects are about the same in scope and size.Ok, what from Disney would you like to compare it to?
Yeah, and it will be as plastic as the rest of Universal with no real attention to detail. Sorry but take a good look around WWHOP. Shortcuts every including that horrid snow on roofs, not even close. Then compare to the snow on mountains in FLE or Everest. The Disney snow and rocks take time to sculpt and use imagineers while Potter's is just a quick pour of material smoothed out and painted white to look like icing rather than snow. Cut corners on detail and you can do anything faster. How about The new Harry Potter section opening sometime in 2014.
