I think Spirit is meaning that Summer Nightastic was a recycled show from the defunct Pirate and Princess Party. It was not a "new" show when it played a couple of summers ago. MK had a whole new fireworks show planned that was axed in favor of keeping Wishes.

I like Dream Along with Mickey. I thought it would be terrible before I actually stood and watched it one day and I actually found it to be really cute and entertaining. It's not on my "Must Do" list but if it's going on sometimes I'll stop and watch it for a while before moving on to other things.

I wouldn't be opposed to a new show but I think that they effectively got rid of the "Year of a Million Dreams" theme with the new outfits; Disney World is about dreams all of the time, not just when they are on promotion.
