I agree. I went on my last trip to Hollywood Studios & wow, I found there to be nothing to do there. I think they should add some more rides. I really loved the Toy Story Mania ride though.

I would be ok with them shutting down DHS if only they did it to do a massive renovation and add all the improvements they have discussed so it could be done quicke......sorry almost forgot who I was talking about.

Just like AK, there may be a section that is "blocked off" for construction, but I don't see an entire park closure! TOT and RNRC on on the total opposite end of the park, and those are 2 major attractions! Calm down folks!

DHS is not closing. Do I have insider info? No. Can I predict the future? Definitely not. But I promise you, with 100% certainty, that DHS is not closing.

Backlot is going away to make room for, most likely, either the rumored Star Wars expansion or Cars Land. I hope for Star Wars, and it would make sense given the timing with the new trilogy of movies coming out later this decade. But Cars Land would be something prepackaged that would bring an excellent new E-Ticket and themed area.

Actually, I think it's likely Disney eventually does both Star Wars land and Cars Land at DHS.

Come on, if Disney didn't close DCA, they ain't closing DHS.

Seriously, Hollywood Studios is shrinking, they might as well close it down and use the money in other parks, there nothing to do there. Now with backlot tour gone there is only 4 rides left and not much more else to do.

The park's still profitable. I don't think BLT will effect attendance. They will save money by shutting it down, but I would think that is not why it is shut down to begin with.
