Why does Universal close early?

Sometimes with a limited schedule you have limited choice as to when to go.

Are you suggesting we all avoid Universal when they close early?
When did I suggest that? But your ongoing p&m routine about this situation is just that....

Never knew Universal would turn their own paying public out to rent out to corporates.

Pretty low rent is that.

You really think renting out the parks is cheap? Given how the parks typically feel on nights during the seasons they allow buyouts, they're making a lot more money than they would if the park was open for regular guests, and in reality they're typically just closing an hour, maybe two before they normally would anyway (sometimes closing at the regular time anyway). Making one heck of a stink about nothing, really.

Tell you why not just close they park all day and let corporates have free reign. I mean i suppose we still got City Walk.

Disney has three other resorts you can pop into pretty much next to each other. Universal even closes IOA early on these days. So they must be renting both parks out. Bad taste in my mouth.
I also get upset when movie theatres schedule showings when it isn't convenient for me. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth. If only there was this tool that we could use to help us research such information as hours of operation ahead of time.

Wait so these graduation events are for all of May ? How short sightedness is that, to turf out your paying customers and rent a park out - small minded is that. Leaves customers feeling short changed, which can harm the parks image in the long term.

Because during May they often close at 6pm. Sure early May is quiet but not late May, no excuse for that.

Also, if its the case they are hiring out Universal Studios then why not leave IOA open till late?

>one month out of the year where the park is open year round
>customers are being short changed

I feel like you're complaining just to do it.

It does stink when there are special events the rest of us aren't invited to, but it is a special night for grads- one of the last they'll ever have together. I went to the Disney one in 1994- it was the best time <3
