Why does Disney post future park hours one day at a time?

Disney posts the future park hours one day at a time and I did the math and Disney won't start posting the park hours for my September trip until four days after I can start making dining reservations. What's up with that? Hard to plan out dining when you don't know when the parks will be open. Does anyone know if they step up their postings closer to the summer?
