Thanks everyone..Mrs Hatter has just come home from work ( god bless the wee darling ) and I told her and showed her the evidence..:eek:...She can't believe it either..Fingers X that this offer is available for October 2015.. P.S. Funnily enough,this is my DS number one choice at WDW.After our Jiko meal in 2010 he said he would love to stay here..Hope this dream comes true..;)

But if that offer came up..What would you do..?

Do it! The DDP with TS is one of the thinsg that stops us staying at my dad's property at Bahama Bay. We love doing character meals nearly every day, just because we can! I'm attached to OKW, but if they didn't offer free dining we wouldn't stay there.

Sorry Im late to this thread, but YES!!!! AKL is a beautiful resort! So much to see even if you don't have a savanna view. For an extra $147, I'd be all over that!!!!!

Agree about the bar. And, I'd add the bar at Jiko in Kadani as well. Both are great resort bars. Im sure that would be an added plus for @real mad hatter !!! :)

The distance to the parks from AKL is not nearly as far as some make it out to be. Its a way over exaggerated excuse not to stay at AKL!!! We have stayed there five times and had some issues, but we had some similar busing issues staying at GF, Contemp, WL, and Poly as they share busing from some parks. My point is, you can have issues at any resort. Even the monorails break down. But a WDW vacation should not be a competition on the Amazing Race. No need to stress about the time you will spend on buses, because it isn't all that bad!
