Who's going to PI/Adv Club the last weekend it's open?

I'm seriously debating taking a quick 3-4 day trip to The World over the weekend of September 27th. I can get a flight to/from Orlando for about $200 and I have somewhere to stay already. I was a PI CM and would love to see the island one last time and spend the last night in the Adv Club.

Who else from here is going to be there that weekend?

I start my Trip that day. I'm hoping to go to PI..I sure hope they would at least do one last new years fireworks for the last night of PI.

Our vacation starts a couple days before it closes, so we will be stopping by.

I'm also planning to go to AC on the last night of PI. I worry that so many people will be doing the same that I won't be able to get in. I wonder how early people will line up for AC - any ideas?

I am quite honestly considering being there at noon. A camp out would be great. A group of people makes these things go by much quicker and you can send runners to pick up provisions.

Those of you planning to drop in for the final day of operations... there have been multiple reports in the Yahoo group that AC will not open until 10PM that night due to a private event. I don't know how accurate that is, nor have I been able to independently verify it. Just an FYI.

We will be there for the final night. We changed plans previously made to go to DisneyQuest with the kids to go to AC - we have tried every trip we went to go and something has come up making it not possible, so we are determined to make this occasion. Let me know if there is a group meet there!

If the price for last minute flights drop like a rock in the next month, then we'll be there..... but that is highly wishful thinking.

While our schedule is still pending Disney's approval (they've told us that we should have it soon), I can tell you that we've worked in the Adventurer's Club (and the rest of Pleasure Island for that matter) into our schedule throughout the event. Tentatively, we will be there on Thursday (the addon day) evening and Saturday for its closure.
