Sine DCL is considered part of the WDW Resort, I'm putting it here. Hope it's the right place.

Who here has been on a Disney Cruise Line cruise? Not Premiere, Disney.

I've been on one before- a 7 day Eastern Caribbean Cruise. We all loved it so much we're going on another one! The April 16, 2005 Eastern Caribbean Cruise. w00t! Last time we went with 5 people, now we're going with 11!

I've been on a Disney Cruise twice and my whole family LOVED it! We've made new friends and memories that are going to last a lifetime. I can't wait to go on another :D

Went on a & day Western and then 3 Day. Never been on any other cruise line besides Disney and we don't plan to in the future.

The wife and I don't gamble, so that wasn't an issue for us either :D :D

Did a 3-day (which we turned into 4) land/4-day cruise in 2002. It was wonderful! Our son got sick on the way to the cruise, so that hampered the first day or two, but even with that we had a blast! We are definitely looking forward to another cruise!

I have Been on 2 7 day cruises on the Disney Magic. It was so great. My last one was this past July. It was such a magical expierience. I would never think of going on any cruise but the Disney. Cant wait to go on again. The cast members are soooo nice and the food is delicious.

The Disney cruise was without a doubt the best vacation I have ever had. Service was beyond compare the boat was immaculate and the food was out of this world. My wife did a Carnival cruise with her work a year later and hated it. My wife is by no means a picky eater and she said the food was terrible she actually lost weight on the cruise and that is just plain wrong.

I've been on 1 Disney Cruise, 1 Carnival Cruise, and 3 Royal Caribbean Cruises.

I will never go on a Carnival Cruise again - way too tacky for my taste. Neon lights are not my idea of luxury decor. I just really didn't enjoy myself.

The Royal Carribbean and Disney Cruises are very comparable. Both are luxurious, both offer plenty of activities, both were wonderful experiences. I think they are both awesome, just different. The Royal Carribbean cruise is more suited for adults - the entertainment, casinos, games, etc. are all designed for adults. Where the Disney Cruise is suited for families. So if you're looking for an adult cruise go with RC, looking for a family cruise go with Disney. I don't think I would take my kids on an RC cruise unless they were teenagers, but I will definitely take them on a few Disney cruises in the next several years.

I went on the Disney Cruise in June of 2000 and I absolutely loved it! It was so relaxing and there was always something to do. The food was great, the service was excellent, and the whole ship was very clean.

I've been on the Disney Cruise once last September. Apart from a pesky hurricane messing with our itinerary we had a blast!! We were heading back to WDW after we got off the ship and for the first time in my life I found myself wishing to stay right where I was and to NOT GO TO DISNEY WORLD  Never thought THAT would happen! It was just my wife and I and we have tried to get a few different couples to come with us on a 2nd one and so far no such luck. Hoping to get on another cruise this coming winter but I'm not holding my breath. Anyone who hasn't been on it yet, what are you waiting for? Go now and thank me later ;)

It is a very family oriented cruise. It has all the great things that you would come to expect with a cruise, great food, and great entertainment all with Disney flair. There is no casino on the ship but there is an adults only pool and restaurant. There are also kids only activities that are fully supervised. (My daughter was 9 at the time and we barely saw her for 4 days)You will also make a stop at Disney’s private island Castaway Cay which is just incredible.

disney cruise

my wife and i have both done a carnival cruise prior to disney, and looking back, we didn't really care for carnival,(food terrible, not very clean, very tacky and just a party atmosphere and not much relaxing). the only thing with disney wonder itinerary we didn't like was stopping at nassau, it seemed dirty and run down. we would rather stay at castaway cay for the 3 day cruise. just my opinion.

I've been on 6 DCL cruises and have two more booked for later this year. I really enjoy them. I have yet to try another cruiseline because I've been so pleased with my experiences with DCL. I know what "product" I'm getting with them and am hesitant to try out any others.

You'd think I'd be making a beeline to try out more "adult" cruises since I don't travel with children, but so far I've enjoyed DCL and find plenty of ways and places to "escape" the children and have a very enjoyable vacation. I'm sure if I had kids then I would find the DCL cruises even that much better (if it's possible) because of the great family experience DCL also provides with the kids clubs, characters and top of the line entertainment.

You are right there shopping at Nassau is terrible. It makes a Deep South flea market look like Bloomindales. We were lucky and a friend warned us about it so we opted for the Atlantis tour which was stupendous. Sea World has nothing on this place when it comes to aquariums. My wife wasn’t so lucky on her Carnival cruise a year later. She got roped into the straw market and said it was one of the worst afternoons of her life.

Been on the 3 Day Wonder Cruise 3 times and it is the best. I have been on Carnival, Celebrity, and a few other "small" cruise lines and none of them compare. The only gripe I have is that Disney's prices have skyrocketed. A week in 2004 for my family of 4 was 3000. This next year it will be 4500. That is getting a bit expensive, but they are the best and always book their ships solid.

You might want to check AAA prices. They nocked about a grand off our cruise price.
