Who else is anticipating Epic Universe?

Epic desperately needs a comprehensive/full sets family dark ride -a lengthy headlining ride with low physical thrills, low height requirement but loaded with visuals(Hunny Hunt, Mystic Manor, Haunted Mansion, ET, 20k Leagues. I would not call Universal’s latest ride, Pets, a serious attempt at fitting the bill)

Out of 6 parks Universal has only built one and that was over 3 decades ago. And this 7th park shows no signs of building an E ticket level family dark ride.

I said this a page or so ago and agree completely. Unless there is something we don't know. We need that dark ride that was supposed to be a part of Dark Universe for Monsters where boats explore caverns springs and Creature from The Black Laogon/below the castle's catacombs. Pirates/El Rio(three cab) type.

Kongfrontation had thrill but it was a fantastic all audience willing dark ride of the time. Jaws and earthquakes had elements of this adventure as well.

I think expansions will see some of that.

Maybe the Potter dark ride will be far more accessible than the other E Tickets that have been built. But it does not seem that way.

I completely forgot about Kongfrontation. Yes, that one was a full set family dark ride……a great one which I would trade Mummy, and I very much like Mummy.

Agreed. I never forget it because it was my favorite ride besides The Haunted Mansion. To me. If ET Adventure was Universals Peter Man. King was their Haunted Mansion in the sense of wonder, detail and scale.

I never got to experience the Ghostbusters attraction. Was that any good?
I'd love for them to keep the "ride the movies" theme and give us a family-style dark ride (I'm envisioning a ride vehicle like Spider-Man but slower), riding through NYC and blasting Ghosts in an Ecto-1 themed ride vehicle. I know Ghostbusters isn't as big as it once was, but Afterlife was good and the next one coming back to NYC may push the franchise forward.

EDIT: Maybe it could utilize the MarioKart tech...

It'd be cool to see something like this come from Universal. But at this point, it's pretty clear they're actively avoiding that style of ride. I say let them focus on what they do best if they can keep producing bangers.
