I couldn't possibly pick 5. I'm taking a different tact on this anyway. Speaking only of Rock (I don't even want to think about expanding this, since I can't even pick 5 <g>) Where I had multiple folks, I decided to pick one just for the sake of doing it, but I hated it <G>

Vocal - I've narrowed my favourites to:

• Freddie Mercury for his power and range ***
• David Gilmore for the variety and smoothness
• James Taylor for his strength

Guitarist - Geez. Way too many, I know I'll leave the best out:

• Jimi Hendrix - well....that should be obvious.
• Eddie Van Halen....although respected, I don't think nearly enough ***
• Santana - okay...I just like the guy a lot.

Drummer - This one is the only easy one for me. You may disagree, but for me - only one makes the list.
