Who are these hippos?

I notice on the Disney Vacation Planning DVD (the current one and the YOMD one), at certain points on the menu, these three hippos come dancing accross the screen. Then, this morning, I was watching my DVD copy of the Grand Opening of WDW from 1971, and I saw those hippos in there, too. As in characters roaming the park. So I was curious what movie these hippos were in? Fantasia, perhaps? And do those characters still roam the parks now, or have they long since been retired?

I have not seen the planning DVD but the only character that comes to mind that fits that description would be Hyacinth Hippo from Fantasia. I have never seen her in the parks but that of course does not mean that there is not a costume for her somewhere.

Ya, I think that's them. I guess I would have known that if I had not got sick of Fantasia after 5 minutes or so and turned it off! :ROFLOL:
