I had to force feed myself dessert there I was so full. For $40 a person, I was not walking out of there until having soup, salad, entree, and a dessert. Even if it killed me...Dinner buffet @ Boma....ate till I was hallucinating!

We do however nowadays skip the starter and or Dessert if the main is looking too much for us

that @real mad hatter 's T-Bone from T-Rex was so "meaty." I finished mine and looked over to DH who was still only about half way through his chicken fried steak. I guess mine came from a more "petite" steer. That being said- I'm one of those people who has a really tough time feeling full, so it takes A LOT for that white flag to go up if I'm in vacation eating mode. While we haven't tried it- the kitchen sink is about the only thing I've seen that would likely cause me to raise that flag.
Ah but there's maybe a reason for the legend of the T-Bone..Over here ours fit on the plate..Over on your side the horns are still attached,or at least it feels like that..I'll never forget me asking a server in a Las Vegas restaurant " Excuse me,what is the Texas T-Bone.? ..He looked at me as if I was crazy and replied, " Why Sir, it's a T-Bone the size of Texas."Firstly...I'm a bit envious

Cheers @HouCuseChickie..I live and learn..The steak is certainly different over here + living in TX, we're quite spoiled. Ultimately, you still may have gotten a larger T-bone...i.e. either bigger animal or cut from a larger section of the short loin (or even thicker cut chop). We see it all the time in the market over here...some are just substantially larger than others. Oh well- you had an awesome steak!
Whilst looking at me trying to finish off my T-Rex T-Bone on DVD last night.( I know,I'am on vacation mode ) I never managed it.I kept finding more juicy meat every time I turned the bone..When our server came over and asked " Hi there,are you still working on that.? " I just looked at her as tears rolled down my face. I was working out how I was gonna get out the restaurant without bumping into other diners..So have any of yourself's gave up on a meal you just couldn't finish and waved the white flag..?
