Whispering Canyon Breakfast

I'm thinking of making an ADR for breakfast at Whispering Canyon for myself and my mom during our March trip. Neither one of us are very big eaters. Does anyone know if they will let us order a single skillet between the two of us?

Or, I guess one of us could just order toast for $2.99.

I don't think that you will have a problem ordering just one skillet and then the side of toast. I will let you know though that if you don't like loud crazy environments, then this might not be the way you want to start your day. My DH and I don't mind loud and exciting, but this was over the top for us. We didn't like the environment at all. The food was fine - it was good.

you will have no trouble ordering just one skillet. however, they won't let you both EAT that skillet. it is an all you can eat situation so you can't share with others. face it, if they did, families of five would be coming in and getting one skillet and keep asking for more!
of course, you could try eating from her plate when they're not looking, but, not the best plan you could come up with.

Actually, they will let you order one skillet between you, they just tell you that you are not allowed any refills. My daughter and I have done this before. Basically you just have to split what is in the 1 skillet between you.

Thanks for all your replies!

I was glad to see that we could get one skillet for both of us--based on the menu, I am more than sure that we could both get our fill from a single one.

Taking disneygirl's caution about the atmosphere, I searched some other threads about WC, and I'm thinking that if my mom got offended at the 50's Prime Time at DHS, this might not be the venue for her, so I will probably reconsider the ADR. Napkins and straws being tossed instead of set on the table probably would not be her cup of tea.

I just wanted an excuse to take her to Wilderness Lodge, so I may just swing by one day and try Roaring Forks for lunch. I assume there are tables there, that it's not just a stand. I've eaten at Artist Point several times, but never went down the ramp to check out Roaring Forks.

My DH made the mistake of asking for ketchup - and literally about 20 kids came running up with bottles of ketchup that filled our table. And then they found out it was my bday so they made him ride around the room on a little wooden horsey leading the song of Happy Birthday to me. That pretty much sums up our experience there. It's always fun to take the boat in the evening to and from the MK so that might be a good excuse to go.
