Which World Showcase countries have bars?

Which of the countries have bars or cocktail areas that people can sit at or hang around for a drink without needing a reservation for food service?

There are at least walk up beverage stands that sell alcohol in every country. Some have better places than others. Make sure to check out the Rose and Crown in England, it's great.

I believe that R&C is the only country with a full fledged bar that you can lounge around in. The also have a piano player there on occasion.

The R&C is fantastic, but I still enjoy grabbing a Carlsberg from the Norway stand and then sitting by the water and watching Friendship pass by.....I really could do that 12 - 13 times a day.... :slurp:

also, there are two great adult slushes not to miss...

the green tea peach schnapps slush at the China Tea Cart and

Grand Marnier orange slush at the French wine cart!:slurp::slurp::slurp:

the American pavilion is the only let down (unless you love Bud and Bud Light), unless you go during Food & Wine when Sam Adams is the feature and the Cherry Wheat beer is Awesome!!!

The best thing about drinking in World Showcase is the fact that you don't need a bar to sit in, you can just wander through the countries and sit on the benches by the water. We spent a good 6 hours last year doing just that!

Saki Tasteing in Japan is a must, you pick out a Saki cup and then the CM will write your name on the bottom of the cup in Harigana et. al. then you drink whatever you desire. Drinking around the World is a blast! 10 drinks 11 if you like Bud (USA) in 10 countries and your set. ENJOY!:slurp:

While Cherry Wheat may not be available year-round, the stand that sells Sam Adams in front of the American Adventure is now permanent.
I believe they usually have Sam Adams Boston Lager and one seasonal on tap. (I think it was Sam Summer when I was there a couple weeks ago.)

A few years ago i went to the tasting at the food and wine festival. The Boston Bee Company was doing a tasting and featured 5 different beers, on was brewed just for the event. Does anyone know if they do that every year?

Unfortunately the "seasonal" is now usually an AB product.

Sam Adams has had an area to the right of American Adventure for a number of Food and Wine festivals now.

If you are there during that time, there are also beer and wine tastings in Innoventions and (what was) Wonders of Life.
