Which to do First at Animal Kingdom

Hello all,
We will be arriving at WDW on Monday June 26 around 10:00. After checking in at French Quarter, we plan to dash over to Animal Kingdom right away. Since we will not be there when the park first opens, which way should we head first, EE or the Safari? What time frames will the fast passes be displaying for these attractions by the time we get there?
Thanks,

Safari usually holds FP's until around closing. What time does the park close that day? If it's 8pm, the Safari will stop running at 7pm - but will be a walk-on around 6pm-ish.

Definately try to get a FP at EE first.

Head for Everest first and get a FastPass for that one. Typically, the FP return times around that period in that day are for the noon range. KSR will have the same wait time for their queue but the FP should be for an earlier time (around 11 or so)

We always ride Dinosaur before going to Donald's Breakfastosaurus, but now that Everest has arrived, we send one member of our party to grab Fastpasses and the others to wait at Dinosaur. After breakfast, we would explore Dinoland and take in a show at Theater in the Wild, and then head for Expedition: Everest. :king:

We always cool off at Festival of the Lion King after touring Asia. Then we head for lunch at Tusker House before touring Africa. Then we cap of the day wandering Discovery Island and a showing of It's Tough To Be A Bug.

The first thing I do when entering DAK is... a visit to the restrooms...

After that... Have some ribs at Flame Tree BBQ... :D

Head to Everest, fast pass it... then to Dinosaur.... then to the river raft ride (forgot the name) in the morning before it gets hot and all the crowds head to it... then back to Everest with your FP.... then eat, FP Kilamanjaro safari and the rest of the day to do shows and take it easy ....

Or just do the standby line at KS at the end of the day when it is getting cooler and animals might be out more.

Normally I run and get fastpasses for Kilimanjaro Safaris and get in line and ride so I can ride it twice. However, that was before the addition of Expedition Everest. I would personally try to attack the fastpass at Expedition Everest first and get in line so you can ride twice. Most importantly, arrive early!

"I was just talking about seatbelts, plug them in, use them, it can get kinda choppy out there...flash photography, I wouldn't, it sets off a homing signal and that's not good."

My buddy that worked on the Kilimanjaro Safari Ride said the best time to view the animals is first thing in the morning. By the time the sun comes out and starts heating things up, the animals go for the shade and sometimes hide themselves. I'd maybe to fastpass for Expedition Everest, do KJS, then Kali River Rapids if you don't mind getting wet. If you do, you could either head for Dinosaur, Tough to be a bug, or some shows ie. Flights of Wonder (which I recommend since there is an owl named Darwin :D) Lion King Show, or whatever. Check times on your DAK map. There's a million ways to do things so find what fits your fancy. Wish I was going!

I would definitely go and get your FP for EE first. Then, I'd go wait in the stand-by line at KS. You don't want to wait for an afternoon FP at the safari in Orlando, in June. It's too darn hot!!! In my experience, you see so much more wildlife when you ride in the morning (or right before the ride closes). Good luck with the summer crowds.
