    Since you're going through the whole of the animated canon, I must ask since I recently finished all 55 films, what has been your experience as you've been going through the movies and seeing everything evolve over the years?

    Now that we've gotten past Walt's death, you can see an immediate decline in the quality of the work. There is also a loss of direction for the films. They always seemed to build upon one another, but the last few have definitely been spotty.

    The Rescuers is next, so we're hitting the 80s and the almost death of the Walt Disney Company, so it's going to be interesting to see how things go. Also, we were both born in the 80s, so we're entering very familiar territory, so it is going to be interesting on how those memories and feelings affect our adult judgement.

    I actually love that "dark age" style and all the movies that came out of it. The 80s are probably my second favorite era for Disney animation with movies like The Fox and the Hound. I hope you'll see the hidden greatness that lies within 80s Disney animation.
