Which set scenes are sacred at Storybook Land? What would you like to see?

Well what movies would work with Storybook Land out of Disney and Pixar’s animation roster?

One thing I feel no one ever talks about that really needs to be fixed is the wall behind Dumbo, it sticks out like a sore thumb. This was put up when the attraction received a new queue and they took out all the tall shrubbery. The Dumbo advertisement sign doesn’t help either

How do you go from this to this???
This was the only thing people talked about when it first happened. Also, that is more of a Casey Jr. complain than Storybook. You don't really notice it from Storybook or your attention is turned away by other things.

Put Casita where Agrabah is, and you can still keep Aladdin's "Whole New World" archways and Cave of Wonders.

That would be ideal but I don’t think they’d do it. Theyd probably replace it with a song from Encanto. But you know after seeing the POV of TBA I think we should all pray no classic attractions get touched for a very long time.

New York from The Avengers

But what I really want is some kind of way to incorporate the older scene pieces again alongside the current lineup, sorta like how the Lullaby Land grass quilt has remained there largely uncommented on since the start. Easter eggs for long-time customers to spot while not really taking focus from the newer additions.

I agree: Fun topic!

I think it’s important to keep the “Storybook” in Storybook Land. It’s not Disney+ Land.

Everything in SL should have its origin in a classic children’s book or fairytale. So no Lion King, no Pixar, no Moana, no Encanto.

The Windmills could be put in a museum now, I think. Three little Pigs could be condensed to just the Brick House. It deserves to stay, as TTLP was an extremely important milestone in the history of Walt Disney Studios.

Tangled and Beauty and the Beast would be fine. And even The Jungle Book— maybe worked into the exit from Cave of Wonders.

I’d love to see some almost-hidden nods to Mickey & The Beanstalk, Brave Little Taylor, Sleepy Hollow and the Three Musketeers tucked somewhere, not even pointed out by the guide— Just little gems for the fans to spot.

I think the physical attraction, the pacing and the “vibe” are the most important part. I’d like to keep it to Disney animation if possible but Pixar wouldn’t ruin it at all.

I think every April 1st, the ride should switch to an alternate mode (without telling the guests ahead of time). Instead of exiting Monstro, you plunge down a drop (as your guide calmly dons a brown top hat) into a recreation of the freakout tunnel from Willy Wonka. You guide begins screaming the iconic poem.

I could mention that TLK was kinda based on Hamlet but Hamlet isn’t for children.

I'm not sure of Storybook really should stay. I know it is a fan favorite and it's removal would cause people to have conniptions but riding in a boat looking at miniatures feels really dated. Too bad there isn't any animation or some special effects in the cave. I would like to see Disney characters (in scale) roaming around the buildings. Something similar to the Legoland buildings. I wouldn't mind seeing it and Casey Jr. disappear entirely for something completely new.

You just lost @mickEblu as a friend by suggesting Storybook be removed.

TOP 10 Sacred Disneyland List

In no particular order:

7 was too hard

Disneyland Railroad Station/ Mickey Planter
Sleeping Beauty Castle
Pirates of the Caribbean
Haunted Mansion
Rivers of America
Storybookland
Matterhorn (presence more than the ride)
It’s a Small World
Jungle Cruise
Monorail

This is still tough. No Enchanted Tiki Room, Lincoln or Tea Cups on there.
