For the pros out there, this is going to be a LONG list

To date, I have stayed (first resort to latest) at:
Pop Century (can't remember era)
All 3 All Star resorts (Movies was my favorite stay of them all)
Caribbean Beach in the Pirates room
Port Orleans Riverside- so far my FAVORITE one

How is Shades of Green? I've only visited there a long time ago and can only vaguely remember it

Shades of Green is for military, active and retired. Rooms are like suites and room charge is based on rank structure. I pay $93 a night, with no tax. The hotel has a Starbucks, first on Disney property since 2007-08, has a military mini shoppette where you can even purchase wine and beer and assorted liquors. It has a free computer room with a handful of the latest video games, courtesy from Ratheon.

The resort has the only parking garage on Disney property and it costs $5 a night to park. Shades has a nice sit down Italian restaurant called Manginos, an ice cream shop, a quick service counter, a casual restaurant, and a sports bar near the pool called Evergreens.

I knew it was the military resort. It doesn't sound like that bad of a resort. Maybe I should look into it for future trips!

We stayed offsite until 2010, so my onsite list is a short one...

Wilderness Lodge
Contemporary
Yacht Club
Animal Kingdom Lodge

Trying to decide between Beach Club and Boardwalk for our next trip.

We're staying at the Boardwalk in 2 weeks and our choices were also between BW and BC. We're staying in a studio villa. First time and I'm excited!! :)

I really wanted to rent points to book a villa, but DH doesn't want me booking anything yet. I would assume you'll be doing a TR when you return :D so hopefully that will help me make a resort decision. Have an awesome trip!!!

That is if you are military, retired military, or stay with someone who is. Shades of Green is a very nice resort. It has its charm but it is not overly Disney. It has a few Disney touches, but it looks and feels like an Air Force Inn.

POP - July2011
CBR - Oct2011
CSR - Apr2012
BC - Aug 2012
POLY - Nov 2012
BWI/POLY - Aug 2013
WL/BWV/DOLPHIN - Nov 2013

I liked all the resorts I stayed, with the exception of CBR....for some reason I was not real happy at that resort.
