We also stayed at the Villas at the Disney Institute once for a few nights, because they were super cheap (the resort was closing like three weeks later and the place was a ghost town)

I knew it was the military resort. It doesn't sound like that bad of a resort. Maybe I should look into it for future trips!

I haven't stayed there but I did briefly stop into the lobby in November. It's a GREAT location - just across the street from the Polynesian, and the lobby was super nice.

I have stayed at every Deluxe, every Moderate and every Value except for AoA.

I have not stayed in any of the DVC properties except for Boardwalk Villas.

Actually camped at FW twice in college in the early 90s.

Wow for as many times as I've been to WDW, I haven't stayed in that many different places! No wonder WL always feels like "home" over all the rest.

I totally loved WL. Maybe the front desk screwed up but they gave me the perfect room in the perfect location, it was the week preceding Thanksgiving and the lobby and resort were decked to it's finest in holiday decor....I was playing peaceful easy feeling in my mind for the 4 days I was onsite at this resort and so so sad when I had to go...
