Which resorts allow dogs?

I pretty much always stay at the Beach Club so I don’t have to worry about the dog issue, but if I stayed at one of the “dog friendly” resorts and ended up near the dog rooms or had to deal with barking, etc., I literally would not pay for my room for that night. If Disney wants to have dog areas at particular resorts that’s certainly their prerogative and right, but they better damn well make sure that it doesn’t affect even to the slightest degree the rest of their guests.

Just a question that I honestly don't know the answer to...what about the out of control "service animals"...I thought that with the ADA laws, they would be allowed anywhere the human guest is...how does Disney handle that? If that IS the case, theoretically you could have a dog in any room at any resort. I know they can't discriminate and force those guests with service animals into one section/floor of the resort. Can anyone clarify this?

I think you’re right about service dogs. I’m pretty sure they will be allowed anywhere, although I could be wrong. One difference with service dogs though is they are generally highly trained so they might be less inclined to be disruptive.

It was a very rude and judgmental post. You may as well say all people from New York are rude or all people who live in Tennessee are inbred. Nasty sweeping judgments are just that, nasty.

Made reservations at POFQ for MAY and never even gave the dog issue a thought; glad POFQ is not a dog listed resort. I am a dog owner, IMO WDW is not the place for non service dogs

My POINT was that you stated that they are generally highly trained...if you read the other post, there is a plethora of dogs at WDW that are "disguised" as service dogs but are NOT very well trained. First off, I hardly need your assistance. Especially considering that you clearly struggle with reading comprehension. I specifically stated that SERVICE dogs are generally well trained. And then you attempt to refute that by bringing up regular dogs disguised as service dogs, in other words NONSERVICE dogs. Yeah, thanks again for your “help,” but I think I’ll take it from here. Lol!!!
