Which resort do u recommened

In people's opinions which hotel is the best hotel? I have bought the Unofficial guide to Walt Disney world and it is sort of helping but i would rather get the feed back from you guys. I have been to the All sport and all music resorts before and have gone to them every year since 1990, I think it's time for a change!
BTW can someone also explain to me where i can apply to be a cast member or find information on jobs they offer at Disney, I would really appriciate it! I would love to be a part of disney and work the in the future!
I love Disney World!:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:

With so many choices to choose from and the varying theming and price levels at each resort hotel, I guess it comes down to a matter of what "environment" you would like to surround yourself in.

I recently stayed at Pop Century a few weeks ago and quite liked it. Of course since it is the new kid on the block it was pretty crowded, but I found it to be a very good Value resort. I had previously stayed at AS Music and was comparing PC to that one. My pick now for a value resort would be PC.

As for a deluxe resort, my choice is Animal Kingdom Lodge. Some people don't like this one because it doesn't feel Disney to them or because it is farther away than the other resorts. But this is why I like AKL. I personally like the African theming and feel it has. Some people would swear by Wilderness Lodge, some people by Polynesian, others by Contemporary.

As I said above, it all depends on your budget and what type of hotel "environment" you would like to stay in.

Go to http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/resorts/resortOverview?id=ResortOverviewPage and look through the different resorts and their price ranges, theming, and features.

Disney has so many resorts to choose from and they are all done so well, I wouldn't worry about one place being nicer than another. Just pick one you find cool and enjoy yourself!

I would say the best resort would be the grand floridian, but that is way way way too much $ for what you get out of it. I have stayed at animal kingdom lodge and wow was taht great but since its such a nice hotel it hets crowded and it just wish it were quieter, plus if your using the busses they are ususally packed. In my opinion the best all around was coronado springs because it was very laid back, not alot of noise, the buses are rarely standing room only. now i have also stayed at the value resorts, its small and packed to the gills no matter which one you go to. Its a great value though. hope i helped

My family and I love the All-Stars - short walk to the bus stop/main building, and you can get a quiet room off the beaten path sometimes. We also really liked PO:FQ, and the Beach Club was awesome on our honeymoon. :sohappy: The Caribbean Beach was nice, but the walk to the main building can be rather long, depending on where you stay.

As has been said previously in this thread, many are so different that each manages something special.
AKL is very different but remote (especially if travelling with kids), I like Wilderness Lodge A LOT. It is possibly the most beautiful, and that geiser...but you also have to use buses. I guess my default is the Poly, a semi private feel, its entertaining just walking the grounds, you're on the monorail and its within walking distance of Grand Floridian to take advantage of the spa (wonderful for midday breaks) You can see the MK fireworks (w/o sound), you have access to watercraft and there is the water parade. I would not turn down anywhere on property, but Poly would be my #1

I'm definately a Wilderness Lodge girl...can't beat the atmosphere. The boat ride to the MK is beautiful especially at sunset. You can take the boat to the Contemporary and hit the monorail. I have never had a problem with the bus rides.

The Polynesian would be my second choice, but I hated having to walk outside to get to everything (esp in the dark or when it rains). The TTC is at the edge of the property.

We have also stayed at the Contemporary. Nice shops, Chef Mickey's & the Concourse steakhouse. The monorail is a big plus.
The atmosphere left alot to be desired (IMHO).

I would like to try a few others, but can't get my family to go along with me. :(

If you are looking to save money, I think that Coronado Springs is really nice. It's really relaxed there, and I find it to be much nicer than All Stars.

If you have $ to spend, stay at AKL. It is definitely worth the extra money to get a Savannah view room. Also, if you aren't a picky eater, try Boma. It's a huge buffet with African food. Yum!

No questions asked...Animal Kingdom Lodge. There is no resort quite like it. The whole atmosphere is unbelievable, you almost forget that you are still in Orlando. The theming is great, down to every little detail. And of course, there is nothing like waking up to the animals on the savannah. The pool is amazing, the resturaunts are amazing, and the rooms are beautiful.

Here you go Queen, since nobody answered you :-)

As for resort, I stayed at Dixie Landings (now Port Orleans Riverside - booo) 4 years ago and was hooked! We've stayed there 3 times since and will again this June 6-12. It's secluded, VERY plushly landscaped, quiet, and relaxing. It has over 2,000 rooms but you'd never know it! Check it out on Deb's site: www.wdwig.com in the resort section.

It's rack rate is $144, but they'll have summer discount codes out soon (I'm staying there from June 6-12 for $89/nite with my Disney VISA!)

I agree whole-heartedly with the Dixie Landings reccomendation. I absolutely love it there because of the theme and the whole atmosphere in general. If you can get a room there for $89 a night then by all means do not hesitate on that.

Have a wonderful time!

I'd say: Polynesian (for most expensive)
Runner up: Wilderness Lodge

Port Orleans: Riverside (Old Dixie Landings) (for moderate price)

and

All Star Movies (for least expensive)

Those are my picks! :)

If money is not an issue, then my personal favorite is the Beach Club. I've stayed in quite a few of the hotels on property and I've found the service at Beach Club to be the best. Plus, it's a beautiful hotel. But most important of all (at least to me) is that it is very close walking distance to Epcot. It's also right across the lake from Boardwalk, and if you don't mind a bit longer of a walk, you can walk from there to MGM also.

If saving money is the objective, then I would choose Pop Century. In terms of the rooms and the amenities, it is essentially identical to All Stars. But the fact that it is brand new gives it an edge over All Stars I think.
