No! We lived in Germany for 5 years when I was young. We traveled all over.

This summer, during Med cruise, Captain addressed audience in theater that the Magic was "built" in Venice, and "maybe" the Magic could return there. Foreshadowing 2013? Hmmm?

I want to sail thru the Panama Canal. It's on my bucket-list if you have to give that little list of things you want to do someday a name. My dad was a sailor, 24 years US Navy retired. He's always told me about these amazing things and I so want to see them, too. I know I'll never circumnavigate the globe the way he did in his many years but I want to cross the Panama Canal. And maybe someday the Suez. Oh how I love to gaze at his cruise books (like yearbooks) and all the pictures. He has the most gorgeous, intricate certficates...stuff you don't see anymore...for crossing the canals and for the Order of the Shellbacks. It's just awesome stuff that I've heard about and imagined my whole life...I wanna see it with my own eyes. Ooooh...wonder if I could find some cool blank certificates similar to the "Order of the Ditch" to make up for us crossing if we get to....

Anyone going on the 7 night Med cruise, I highly suggest a private tour company for the ports. If anyone is interested, I can give the name of our private tour guide. We went with 2 other couples and split the price 3 ways. What a bargain!

As far as I know, the answer is no. While they have done a number of Med cruises that stopped in the ports in Italy, this is the first time Venice was included as one of the ports where DCL stopped.
Which is why I told my travel agent I need to come in this month and put a deposit down on a cabin for one of the cruises to Venice.
