We think we just decided to change our dates and go 8/25 to 9/2 as well. We are 3 families traveling together with boys 9, 8, and 2 5 year olds and 1 2 year old girl

Here's what we are doing (I think)

Saturday 8/25
Fly BOS to MCO early in the morning
Lunch and pool then DTD for a stroll

Sunday 8/26
MK
Liberty Tree Tavern dinner

Monday 8/27
EPCOT
Garden Grill dinner

Tuesday 8/28
DHS
Hollywood & Vine breakfast

Wednesday 8/29
AK/EPCOT
Via Napoli dinner

Thursday 8/30
Still planning this day out, looking at Plaza, Ohana, Crystal Palace or Whispering Canyon

Friday 8/31
EPCOT
Le Cellier lunch

Sat 9/1
MK
Cinderella's Castle dinner

We may run into one another!!!

The only reason why we chose MK for Thurs instead of Sat is that ELP is running again on Thurs & Sat is Labor Day weekend & I figured that MK would be busy.

We knew the week we were going last summer so I paid attention to the crowds for that week. Yes MK was busy on Sat but we always like to plan to end our trip at MK. I figure we can always park hop somewhere else if it's busy. Also being the end of our trip we hopefully would have done everything we wanted by Labor Day weekend any how.

I like the flow in option #2.

Magic is 'pure WDW'. Hollywood is the french fries to Magic's Big Mac. Epcot is like having a pizza.

However, I HIGHLY recommend going to Animal Kingdom on that first short Sunday. Aesthetically, it's a great park to get into the mood. Plus, it's very grounded in the real world. Going there first is like saying: "I'm on vacation, and in Disney, but not quite ALL the way in Disney."

I would recommend: Animal, Magic, Epcot, Hollywood, down day, Epcot, Magic

I love saving Magic for last. Also, Epcot is a good 'pick up where we left off' park. And I always feel tired after Hollywood - and very immersed.

Hollywood makes me feel like I've been to Disney for a long time. Probably because it's 'that third park' from the MGM days. It's like icing on the WDW cake.
