Which park is laid out the best and the worst?

MK is the best, followed by Epcot (getting from the front of Future World to WS is still quite a "hike" and there's no transportation in Future World.

DHS is not great, but it was built over many years so it's more forgiveable.

AK is horrible, layout-wise and it was built specifically that way, especially during the parade, nearly everything gets stuck up by the Safari area.

I think DAK is... don't shoot me. I love the shade in the Oasis as you past by with no gift shops and once you get to Discvery Island everything is relatively nearby. Sure, it's large, but DAK takes skill to navigate and know where you're going at all times- and once you get the hang of it you can easily enjoy the park's layout.

Worst is DHS. Lots of concrete, barely any shade, 1 (small) body of water, the area by Backlot is a little random and I'm always confused about whether HISTKPG is a dead end or leads to LMA. I know it does lead to to LMA, but the park map says makes me think otherwise. Also everything is in a straight line. There are no trails or paths you wouldn't normally take.

Shade doesn't really have anything to do with layout

Are you kidding me with the Studios stuff? Hard to navigate? IT'S A FLIPPIN' CIRCLE AROUND GMR!

Hard to navigate?

Step 1. Go in front of the hat.

Step 2. Choose left or right.

Step 3. Keep walking left or right.

Step 4. Arrive at the SAME PLACE

:brick:

Honestly, I can't really pick one. You'd have to be really crazy to actually see any flaws or complexity in how any of the parks are laid out. Animal Kingdom would be my favorite because of how much you actually travel and how you transistion between areas. Magic Kingdom would be my least if you had to pick one, but that's just because the Bay Lake is a pain in the to access the park.

It doesn't? I thought this was about how everything was laid out including trees, attractions, and water...

Animation Courtyard at DHS always confused me. Why is there a random dead end!?!

Shade can usually be adressed regardless of the park layout by installing trees.

I don't know Servo I love DHS as much as you but it seems like a cluster F... with a lot of dead ends.

I agree that DHS was probably the worst. Mainly because it was built to be a half-day park. But the backlot area is really a labyrinth.

I don't think AK is that bad, the E:E walkway helped a lot.

Yeah, the areas between Pixar Place, Streets of America and The Muppets are all great attractions.

None of those are dead ends...

Seriously, Studios is the MOST easy park to navigate.

A: If you keep walking forward you'll lapse back to where you where.

B: There's only one entrance to Sunset Blvd.

C: More Icons and Landmarks then you can shake a leg at.

Don't get me started on the water parks. I am always lost in both of them. I think it mainly has to do with the queues for most of the slides being flights of stairs. In many cases the beginning of the queue is nowhere near where the ride actually begins (or even ends). I know this is unavoidable for a water park because gravity is needed in order for most water rides to work, but it can be confusing.

I appreciate the amount of landscaping in the water parks too but sometimes I feel like it is very overgrown and makes it harder to figure out where you are. It sure beats a Six Flags concrete jungle, but I think less winding pathways in Disney water parks could be beneficial.

The best is MK...it's easy to navigate, you can't get lost and there are only a couple of traffic problem areas.

The worst is DHS...It's the least easy to get around, you often have to backtrack and there are quite a few spots that seem to get congested (outside ST, sunset boulevard, Pixar Place etc). Plus the E-Tickets are unevenly distributed throughout the park.

IMO The best laid out park is Epcot everything is easy to find and the only traffic flow issues I have ever have are in Mexico.

DHS imo is by far the worst laid out park. It has traffic flow issues in multiple areas and the layout is just generally confusing.
Agreed!

Is it even a question? Best is Epcot, worst is DHS. No contest. Epcot just feels comfortable. It has wide open spaces and a symmetry to it. DHS is one mess of a park, and a mess that's crammed into too small of a space.
