I voted DHS for much of the reasons posted above, but also agree that FW in EPCOT is on life support.

1. The Energy ride needs to be redone (again).
2. Something should be done to the WofL pavilion - either refurbish it and put it to use again or a new attraction.
3. I am very disappointed with the wasted 2nd level of the Imagination pavilion (and I prefer the old version of that ride but I digress). The play area up there was really neat and now it is just abandoned. Why?

"Future World" doesn't seem to describe what is going on there with attractions and a few additions or rennovations would be nice. I am not sure what they have in the "Innoventions" pavilions now but in 2007 there was not much to hold our interest as we toured that either.

4. As for DHS - I really think more rides need to be added.
5. TGMR is in need of refurbishment, and
6. The Backlot Tour also is incredibly outdated. DHS is a half day 1 time visit when we go and has been that way for a long time now.
7. Some restaurant refurbishment would also be beneficial for DHS - that 50s Cafe is dated in more ways than the obvious and I never see people at the SciFi area...that is a strange part of the park IMO :)

What I don’t like about the “Studios is a half day park” argument is that the people making it are from the perspective of a frequent visitor. If you go to WDW every year, then yes there is a lot at the Studios you would probably choose not to see again. But for the vast majority of guests, visiting the park is something done only a few times in a life time. These guests will not skip Indy, LMX, B&tB and the time it takes to catch all of the shows and hit all of the rides in between would easily take the entire day.

'50s is supposed to be dated... You are dining as if you are in the kitchen of a home in the '50s. I think the theming is perfect for it, IMO!

I voted for Epcot. While there are lots of things to do in FW, they just don't fit the theming. I'm all for a JII refub closer to the original. UOE needs to be updated and the Seas needs to be expanded. There used to be so much more in there. TT and M:S are ok. The Land pavilion is the best one of the bunch.

True, but at the same time - if there are a few things you DON'T care to do again, or would prefer to do something else - that chisels away at your options. There needs to be more variety at DHS. You shouldn't have to hit every single thing every single visit to fill the day.

I voted for DHS with EPCOT being a close 2nd.

DHS has a lot of stuff that needs to be updated, get a rid of , and a big problem of amount of rides that the whole family could do.

Toy Story Midway Mania fast pass and wait times is a prime example of why DHS needs more rides that a whole family could do. DHS has 3 thrill rides, but those rides don't attract everyone that does Toy Story Midway Mania. One of my examples of why DHS needs more family rides is I know people that don't do none of the 3 thrill rides DHS has because of the type medical problems that have, but yet do stuff like Toy Story Midway Mania.

I agree with you. I wouldn't touch B&tB, and I would only update Indy. However, some things such as American Idol, that Narnia thing, and a few others, most people don't have an interest in.

And Although I do love GMR, I think some of the scenes need to be updated.

I voted DHS, I agree with it being a half Day Park, especially for adults (no kids in tow). The Park is lacking it needs to be updated. Just as stated above.

Boring in the FW part but love to see more attractions in that section..

Mostly and its not on the list

Improvement to the buses and the EVC loading. It is getting worse. Abuse of the system and having to wait on them when they just rolled up with 15 family members while we all have stood for 30-45 minutes. Wait on another bus and here comes another bunch. We need CMs to monitor this issue and possibly a special bus just for them.

DAK-
You ride that train to Rafikis Planet Watch(at least you see some animal housing buildings) then get there and there is really nothing. Tons of empty space. Then you get on the train and there is NOTHING....even the CM is joking about how there is nothing to look at but some regular old florida vegetation. So much could be done.

Although DAK lacks attractions, it's still a very solid park imo

Between Epcot and DHS, Epcot was the one with the most work because of the lackluster FW West, whatever horrible state Imagination is in today, lack of WS attractions, and the overall decoration and layout of the current FW (bleh, those decorations)

Animal Kingdom with DHS a close second. Both need attractions. Both need some dark rides. Animal Kingdom has got to be the hottest park out there and I figure the reason why is because you're in the sun more than any other park. I know there is the animal aspect to it, which is great, but they are in need of more rides and shows.

DHS is almost looking like they aren't trying with it anymore. It is still a great park, but it falls behind both Universal parks and it doesn't have to be like that

I truely am torn between EP and DHS but would have to pick DHS.

My fam has spent a day there (always in Sept) going between ToT, RRC, GMR and TSM. That is all that interests us there.

1-The Backlot tour is AWFUL!
2-Indiana Jones is outdated and never changes. How about use REAL people from the audience (not the plants used now) to create a couple of movie scenes, then have available a copy of it for the participants!
3-I have never gotten the point of the New York Skyline setup (no - please don't explain it to me)
4-The Prince Caspian thing was an utter waste of time.
5-The Car stunt show is ok - once.
6-Even though we ride it at least once each trip (A/C), most scenes in the GMR are lost on my teenage daughters.
7-With all the stars Disney has and being the pretense of being a "movie studio" why aren't there any meet and greet or autograph session type things or daily performances other than the special events like "ESPN the WEEKEND" or the like? I have always wondered about it. I know my girls would love something like that.
Overall I view DHS as a GREAT half day park.

Hollywood Studios is my favorite park, with my favorite rides. However, I agree with a lot of the above and fixing those things would really make it great.
My teenage daughter loves the Great Movie Ride, but updating some of the movies would improve it quite a bit.
Prince Caspian really is a waste of space. It is air conditioned but that's all it has going for it.
I'd love to see the Art of Animation expanded upon and improved both to fit the studio theme, but to give frustrated artists, (and real ones) and animators more immersion into the art.
Get Rid Of The Giant Hat!

I always feel like it is 10 degrees hotter in DAK than it is in the other parks lol

but I think that if they added 3 new lands to DAK it would be amazing

Australia
-Outback Safari with Kangaroos, Koalas, Dingos, and Wallabies
-A attraction themed to the Rescuers Down Under

Beastly Kingdom
-A Dragon Themed Roller Coaster (yes i know about Dueling Dragons back story...)
-A Fantasia Dark ride, mostly focusing on the Greek Gods Scene/Chernabog
-A WOC-esque night time show

Mysterious Island (or a new name for DAK)
-20,000 Leagues under the Sea
-Journey to the Center of the Earth

They could probably combine Beastly Kingdom and Mysterious Island together
I didn't go to AK at all last trip. Don't care if I ever go again unless they do something with the park. That being said, DisneyWorldDork has some ideas that I think are pretty cool! They would draw me back and give AK some of the Magic Kingdom type of feel and Magic.

Hollywood Studios....

HS has my vote. Some rides/shows need serious updates - Indy show, Great Movie Ride, Backlot Tour. And I think the park needs more rides. :)

I love the studios as well but unless you are in long lines for Toy then it doesn't take 2 days to do.. I agree Backlot is boring boring. What would it take to do some new scenes and props. Lights camera is a do only once in 30 year attraction same old, my husband said the rocket ride cannot remember the name is horrible , do NOT like Star Wars stuff.. Great movie ride is ion desperate need of new scenes..only like the OZ scene

Ak I love this park not for the rides I dont do everest or kali or the dino land carny rides. Cannot figure out why the sent good money on carny rides instead of a Disney quality area.. I love then walks with the tree of live and the jungle trek. LOVE the shops there. Love Tusker Yak and Flame.. But so much more can be done with this ark. Oh yea change the speill on Kilamanjaro. Boring and some of the dri vers drive like a bat out of hell and the ride is very short.. This area needs more animals or props for sure.. Just our opinions

If Disney is not going to expand/refurbish DHS, which was my vote - I do like the idea of adding some new "continents" to DAK as was posted above. Australia and Beastly Island/Mysterious Island would be great! This would turn DAK into perhaps a 2 day visit for some families.

The carnival rides - I must admit I played them there and had a bit of fun while waiting for a fast pass on Dinosaur back when it used to get very very long lines. However, they seem to be just filler for that space by the DinoWhirl.

Why does every one want to add Australia to the DAK? I don't get it. It's the most monotonous continent leave out Antarctica. 90 percent of the continent is desert or semidesert and the few mountain ranges are nothing compared to those on the other continents. The animals are somewhat bizarre yes, but nothing that is as interesting as Lions and Tigers and Bears! The only really interesting about Australian wildlife is that the most toxic animals on the planet are living there, even some water snails can kill you in Australia.
It doesn't even have any interesting ancient sites. And a "Rescuers down under"-ride? Who remembers that movie today?

South America would be a much more interesting addition. It has terrific landscapes, huge waterfalls, the highest and the greatest in the world, the largest tropical rainforest, the longest and second highest mountain range in the world, an enormous wildlife, ancient cultures with great ruins and temples.
If they want to add another continent South America would offer a lot of possible rides, shows and other attractions. You could even put an Indiana Jones Adventure here.

Which everyone else in the world has, and frankly, the Disney version don't even move much that I've seen.

Which is a big draw! People love to look at stuff that can kill you. It's human nature. They have all kinds of dangerous stuff, salt water crocks, just about every killer spider known to man. You want seriously venomous snakes, go down under to OZ! Sharks, octopusssess(? :D) deadly box jellyfish that will kill you that you can't even see. Marsupials for the furry lovers, plus some of the loveliest women on the planet!

So why not both? The park sure needs more, I don't disagree with South America, but I would hate to see anyone slam the door on OZ. Plus, being a fan of our own desert here in the American southwest, some people like the desert, and the wildlife hidden there.
