A pointless exercise, but to indulge the thread, I argue we can't lose an entire theme park.

No matter how bad EPCOT and DHS have gotten, there is always hope for the future and things we can enjoy while we wait.

A water park is something I don't really consider classic Disney, so one of them is fine.

Grade A on the gloss over and skirting the issue.

Since you insist...

Except I wasn't making any assumptions. You clearly stated that this thread has no purpose; which assumes you knew what the posters intent was. No projection required..

Assumption #1.

1 - I did not assume the poster's intent. "Which one's the worst?" is the title of the thread, followed by the poll question: "If there was one park you could close completly of,which would it be?" and then the question in the post: "If you had to pick one park to close WITHOUT salvaging anything, which one would you pick?" From these three questions, we are to pick a park, without salvaging anything, that can be closed [because] it is the worst. If that is not the case, then the question "which one is the worst" is useless. If these other two questions are asked alone, and then I made the point that someone is asking which park is the worst by asking these questions, then I am making an assumption of the intent of the poster.

You took a simple question and decided to twist it so you could make your own little passive-aggressive rant. His wording may not have met your standards but that doesn't mean it was a dig at Disney.

Assumptions# 2, 3, and 4.

2 - How am I twisting a 4 word sentence? It means exactly what it says and no inference is required. In fact, one would have to actually make an assumption to come to the meaning the question actually intended if it meant anything other than what it says.

3 - Please look up the definition of passive-aggressive. Skip on over a few pages to the definition of rant, while you're at it.

4 - I don't have standards of how people word things, nor did I attempt to impose said non-existent standards. I was merely stating what I believe, which once again is that the question that was asked in the title is useless. I also gave a suggestion for a new title which could be discussed with some meaning.

There we go, that's all I was looking for. Saying someone is doing something and proving it are two different things.

I get your point on 1, but calling it silly is an opinion, saying it has no purpose an opinion also, but also assuming that the question was of no value to the poster.

On 2--perspective difference, point taken.

3--Pure opinion. Looked like a cheap dig at people who dare criticize Disney, which is far from the everyone that a "we" implies. Rant is subjective and rants come in varying degrees.

4- Clarification instead of substitution or recommendation.

3 pages of arguing over what the OP intent was, making assumptions about someone's assumptions (remember what they say when you ASSUME). Sheesh, people.... :banghead:

The OP admitted that he/she didn't hit it out of the park with this thread and apologized. Time to move on.
