What part of he isnt trying to brake the bank dont you understand? Just because your going to AKL doesn't mean other people will want to, especially little kids and not with a $430 a night minimum price tag per room.

I really don't see any need to make this personal. And if you're going to insult my comprehension skills, do me a favor and spell "break" properly.

As I said but you refused to recognize, there will be plenty of timeshare points available for the week after Christmas at significant discounts.

Im just trying to help another member out. I also am highly doubtful those discounts will be for over 60%

I'll check into all options for sure. I know that All Star's would be in my price range and I'm not opposed to something a bit pricier but I imagine paying for 2 adults and 3 kids will get expensive quick. :)

Most DVCer's rent their points out between $10.00-12.00 per point( or so I've been told that what I could rent mine out for by a DVC rep). I think the OP said that they were looking around Christmas. The lowest point requirement for a 2 bdrm is at OKW at 405 points for a week You could book 2 studio rooms at 154 points each but on a nightly avg that is still over $440.00 per night. You would be much better off with family suites at AS or 2 rooms at Pop.

What about two rooms in a moderate? I mean, nothing is going to be cheap over Christmas week, but the moderate hotels will give you more theming than a value with a bit of a smaller price tag than a deluxe.

I'll check into family suites at AS for sure since it would make since we could split the cost. I'll have to see what the cost difference would be.

I'll look into that and compare the costs of suites versus 2 standard rooms. Thanks! :)
