Which MK land do you think needs the most help after the fantasyland expansion? What attractions and changes would you make to that land?

Adventureland without a doubt. It consists of a lot of palm trees and Tiki gods that people pass through on their to either Pirates of the Caribbean or Frontierland. There needs to be a big, new ride there in the same thrill vein of DL's Indiana Jones ride. I know the Jungle Cruise is nostalgic for many of you, but it's just not a huge draw anymore: facts are facts.

Tomorrowland desperately needs a refurb (seriously, it's almost lost the feel), but as for Adventureland I think it's just fine because of the amazing themeing that I've come to know and love.

Adventureland could use a new attraction, but Tomorrowland needs it more. The only big draws are Space Mountain and Buzz. Adding a new E-Ticket would be a step in the right direction. Making the land go together again would be an even bigger step.

P.S. leave my Frontierland alone. It's fine as it is.

I agree with the aesthetics or attractions comment.

Attractions, without a doubt Tomorrowland. It is a mass clash of movies with little to do with a fantasy future. Monsters Inc Laugh Floor is nothing but a puppet on screen and Stitch was a merch based rushed concept.

Aesthetics, Adventureland, although for the most part I find it just fine, a lot of the atmosphere around pirates has been meh for me since the movie changes. I am not a fan of the new music there either. As said, Carribbean plaza needs some work. (barker bird please and tell no tales banner down as well, that thing looked temporary to begin with.

However both have gone too much to tie in the next big thing and suffer for it. Tiki Room and it may not be dated now but eventually, pirates.

New Tomorrowland

I voted Tomorrowland for both attractions and aesthetics. The land needs to go back to its 1974 look. It was much more beautiful.

Here is what I'd put in Tomorrowland:
  • The Grand Circuit Speedway
    [*]Cosmo Jets
    [*]The WEDWay PeopleMover
    [*]The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter
[*]The Monsters Inc Laugh Floor Comedy Club
    [*]Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin
    [*]Body Wars
    [*]Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress
[*]The Santa Fe & Walt Disney World Railroad Tomorrowland
    [*]The Skyway to Fantasyland
    [*]Space Mountain
    [*]The Starcade Game Zone
  • The Travel Destination Station (courtesy of PopDivaPaige on VMKMagic)
PS: Merry Christmas to all on WDWMagic! :xmas:

Leave Frontierland as it is(two VERY popular attractions--Splash & Big Thunder).

Liberty Square is just beautiful. The buildings and all. Haunted Mansion, being my favorite ride of all time, stands out of course, but the whole land is just great(though small and underrated).

Tomorrowland...It's sounds and sights have always been something that, when I think of WDW and long to be there, come to my mind. Buzz is still pretty popular(but did lose some popularity when TSM came to DHS--since they are pretty similar). I want Stitch to LEAVE!!!! It was a strange move by the Imagineers, IMO, and I don't like to say that. TL deserves something new, fresh, and just a LOT better. If Space Mtn. weren't there, it'd be...just...sad and pathetic. PLEASE keep Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress(it was one of Walt's personal favorites!!!). TTAPeopleMover is wonderful--always will be!! Speedway--dunno about that...

Adventureland...while I voted for Tomorrowland, Adventureland does need something new--an E-ticket for sure. The theming is AWESOME. Love hearing the bongos and other drums as I walk from the hub to Adventureland :). Pirates, still, is a very popular ride--attracted new generation when Cptn. Jack and others came along. Jungle Cruise, as said by someone earlier, is losing guests(I actually think they could put new characters in the ride to maybe bring something new to the table). Tiki Room and SFR Treehouse--okay...

It breaks my heart to see Adventureland the way it is now, especially considering how "cool" it looked in promotional literature. Re-open the Adventureland Veranda, remove the Bazaar, put some fountains back in, and you'd have the crowning jewel of the Magic Kingdom (as it was intended to be). I'm not as attached to Tomorrowland, but aesthetically that land is a mess, too. Tons of dead space, plus an identity crisis. To smooth the transition from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland, they could put a larger focus on vegetation and "natural" surrounds, then slowly lead into a land of a classic view of the future, not an alien spaceport.

I believe plans exist to return Tomorrowland's aesthetics to a "white", "retro" view of the future, which seems to be what they opted for with Space Mountain's re-do.

I don't mind the space stuff; I don't mind Buzz, really. But Stitch--WHY DO THEY HAVE THIS? I don't completely hate Stitch the character, but I DESPISE the attraction. Very glad they brought back the name "People Mover" to the TTA--Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover. I think that's retro, like Sea Castle mentioned he wanted to see, and many guests were pleased w/ the name change.

I agree. It's a classic ride, but it just hasn't aged well. It's..well, cheesy. It needs a major refurb/rebuild, or something else should replace it IMO.

In fairness I do think Tomorrowland could use more greenery and landscaping.

Agreed, but as far as what it needs most, attractions. Bad movie tie ins and quick moves to boost merch sales as well as a true classic with bad narration and an all time classic that is falling apart. Tomorrowland is an SoS.

Jungle Cruise like most things could use a strong refurb, but its a people eater, it still gets the crowds in as a classic. I know its holiday season but monday night when I was there it had over an hour wait.

We all complain on here when they change a classic ride yet some of us want Jungle Cruise removed? I love Jungle Cruise its one of 2 classics that I can think of without a movie tie in and it should stay that way.I almost always see a crowd there unless its almost dark. With some lights I think at night it would be awesome. And would still have lines which are usally as long as HM.

I'd like to see another star wars attraction in TL. like...The Jedi World of Luke Skywalker

Not sure if another Star Wars attraction could work. When Star Tours II: The Adventures Continue comes to DHS, it would be total overkill.
Outside of the point, something that kinda bugs me--In Disneyland, Star Tours is in Tomorrowland. "A Long Time Ago in A Galaxy Far, Far Away"....long time ago--Tomorrowland??? wha??? But that's all beside the point

Tomorrow Land

Although tomorrow land has a decent number of attractions and theming elements compared to some of the other areas, TL is not very cohesive. If you were to ask any disney nubie what the theming of the land was, you would probably get many different answers.

I would like to see a greater emphasis on future based attractions or theming and less focus on characters that could, by a stretch, fall into the TL category.

This land has so much potential and right now its just not doing it for me :dazzle:
