Cinderella Castle. Sleeping Beauty's Castle. The Beast's Castle. The Treehouse from Swiss Family Robinson, and Chickapin Hill from Song of The South. All of those famous film structures have been forever immortalized on Disney park grounds as either shells to major attractions, or park icons themselves. (Well, the Beast's castle hasn't opened yet...but still counts).

Unlike those famous film structures which made it onto the theme park stage, there are many more which remained only on screen...at least for now.

Of the many famous film structures which never made it as a park/attraction icon, which would you like to see make it on park grounds some day? How would you incorporate the icon into a theme park as either an outer shell to an attraction (such as Chickapin Hill for Splash Mtn, or the Swiss Family Treehouse), or as a park icon itself (Cinderella Castle)?

I picked Pride Rock from The Lion King. Back in the 90's when the AK project was announced, I had hoped Disney would use Pride Rock as a central focal point...the "Cinderella Castle" of the place. That did not happen. (Not that I dislike Tree Of Life. It too is beautiful).

But I would still like to see Pride Rock used as a housing structure for some sort of Lion King dark ride / E-ticket attraction.

PRIDE ROCK !! The majestic perch for the King of the Beasts. Below it would be the entrance to a rip roaring coaster ride featuring a duel between the King and Scar.

1. Skull Rock - because Neverland is severely underrepresented at WDW (or any other Disney park, for that matter)

2. the Black Pearl - because it would be awesome... and WDW doesn't have any cool pirate ships

3. Pride Rock, for reasons mentioned above

The Black Pearl! I think that would be cool. There are a bunch of good choices in the poll though. I really liked the suggestion of Pride Rock being turned into a roller coaster as suggested by a previous poster.

I think the Black Pearl would make a better walk through than the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse. It could be place near the attraction or even replace the treehouse. In the last few years they have done walk throughs of ship replicas in my area, (ie, The Bounty, The Nina and the Pinta), and the crowds have always been hugh. I think people would love it and it would become a hugh photo op spot.
