DHS has an intact Tower of Terror, Rock N Rollercoaster, and an actual Toy Story land. Whatever advantages DCA had have been compromised in the last few years.

I don’t want it anywhere else. I’ll keep enjoying it, with its strengths and flaws, right across the way from Disneyland, thank you.

This is incrediblyy debatable. MGM has always been lacking in content. It's ridiculous they charge the same admission price.
It may have lacked quantity, but I found the experiences it did offer extremely repeatable. Next to Epcot, it was my second most visited park in the 90's. DCA would be instantly better if it had any of the following:
The Indy stunt show
Tower of Terror (well...you know)
The Backlot Tour
Sci-Fi Dine In
The Animation Studio Tour
The Streets of America.
Rockin' Rollercoaster.

Why isn't Disneyland on this list? Disneyland should receive a DCA clone alongside the DCA already there. It would be timeless, relevant, and most importantly, Disney. What I'm saying is I want to see two DCAs.
