I'm just wondering if I was to get one of the 3 new consoles (Playstation 2, XBOX, or GameCube) which one should I get?
I probably won't get one very soon because I don't have enough money for any of them but if I do, which one?

i have ps2 and xbox and maybe getting gamecube at xmas ... right now Ps2 ... Xbox has alot better graphics and probably ahs a better processor then ur own computer .. but, PS2 has alot more games and even the WDW MAgical Racing tour ... but anyway .... PS2 is the way to go but if your more into graphics xbox... both r only $199.99 and game cube is $149.99

Playstation 2. It has been the leader, it is still the leader, and it will continue to be the leader of the console market. Buy a GeForce 4 for your PC if you any Xbox games, because the console's headliner games will all be ported to it in some form or fashion in the next couple of years.

if you like disney games playstation 2 is the way to go. there are tons of playstation 1 disney games and for ps/2 stitch, tarzan, donald duck going quackers, disney golf, disney sports, and lets not forget kingdom hearts. Gamecube is second choice for disney games they only have Mickeys magic mirror, tarzan and donald. thats it. Xbox has no disney games. also since playstation 2 plays all the playstation 1 games it has the largest library around. granted the xbox has better graphics but most of the xbox games don't appeal to me and disney is supporting playstation 2 and kingdom hearts is only on playstation 2 so I was hooked.

I'm getting a GameCube. PS2 may have more games, but Nintendo's exclusives are simply the best. There's no game ever made that's better than Super Smash Brothers, and I hear Super Smash Brothers Melee is even better. Mario Sunshine is also cool, and there's Eternal Darkness (they say it's the creepiest game ever), Metroid Prime, the new Zelda, Star Fox Adventure, Simpsons Road Rage (I think they have this one for other platforms)... Apparently, Magical Mirror is for younger players, it's supposed to be too easy. I'm curious about the new Donald Duck one and Scooby-Doo: Night of 100 frights.

In a nutshell, you should get whatever system you feel has more games you like, not quantity. At least that's what I do, I don't go much with graphics and such, I look for interesting games. And I tend towards GameCube because I had a nice time with N64 and PS2 has too many first-person shooters ans sports games.

Oh, and GameCube will also have the Disney Sports games, Sherm.

I not know that. Thanks dude. But I still wanted to play the old disney PSone classics also like peter pan, lilo and stitch, lion king, etc. and the ones comming out like monsters inc. I like disney (as you couldn't tell) and I wanted to collect as much as I can (also looks cool in the cabinit next to my movies) and to win me over it was kingdom hearts (also a huge FF fan).

..actually...you dont need a PS1 or a PS2 to play PS games :x

Emulation is a wonderfull thing..i play my PS1 games on my computer and they look 90% better than they did on their original media..

Gamecube all the way, I have one and its great. You know they are going to be making the great games like mario, zelda, donkey kong, etc. So get a gamecube. I can't wait till Mario Sunshine.

If you do, GCN

The XBox has a huge profit loss per box compared to PS2 and GCN, and might be exclipised by a new HomeStation or Microsoft might pull the plug.

Microsoft is far from pulling the plug on the X-box..in fact..in about 2 months (a little less actually) they are going to explode with a TON of online games starting on the microsoft gamers network..one of the games slated to premiere on that...is one that PC AND console gamers alike have been waiting for for over 2 years..unreal tornament 2003 ;)

get one that has the games on it you like the most. If you want to play kingdom hearts there is only 1 choice playstation 2. thats what did it for me.

..until the PC version comes out :x (which it will..just maybe not at the same time)
