Which Characters can't sign autographs?

Emperor Kuzco (as Llama)- I heard his hooves prevent him from signing autographs, but he has some sort of stamp thing. I'm not really sure though. Take this with a grain of salt.

Nemo (from Finding Nemo)- this character basically just floats around, but cannot sign autographs.

Sebastian- He's only in the parade, and is part of a float.

R2D2- part of a parade, can't sign autographs.

Ursula- again, part of a parade.

King Louie cannot. His hands are too big and cannot hold onto the pen. The CM who was watching him told everyone in line that he cannot sign autographs. This is the only one we have come across.

Woody & Buzz use a stamp instead of signing. (at MGM character meet)

Sulley and Mike don't sign (they do/did a character meet at MGM)

I know there are some others we've ran across but can't think of them now. When I was a kid, Pluto couldn't sign b/c of his big paws, but he did sign my son's book last time.

At the recent Star Wars weekend NONE of the characters signed autographs (Luke, Leia, Queen Amadala, Jango Fett, etc). Eventhough they had hands and were "face" characters, the CM announced they wouldn't be signing autographs.

When they said it, I said, "Great. Autographs are a waste of time". The CM just smiled. The lines went much faster.

Autographs are a waste of time and slow down lines considerably.

I agree that they take up a lot of time, but the kids get so much out of it! Several forum members are CMs with connections to the characters themselves. I would like to get their perspective- waste of time, or worth it?

Edited to add- note my careful wording- kids visit these boards too ;)

Mike and Sully (Monsters Inc), King Louie (Jungle Book), Kuzko (Emperor's New Groove) , and Bullseye (Toy Story 2) cannot sign autographs. Miss Piggy, Kermit, Buzz Lightyear, and Woody do not sign autographs but do use stamps that have their "signitures" on them.

Just checked DS's book, green army man did sign it himself.

Just a little hint, if you can, have your child wear a name tag or something with his/her name on it. We got a lot of "personalized" autographs that way. Most of the characters wrote special notes to him.

Personally...I enjoy it much better...and it seems more of a personal magical experience for the guests...when the characters can actually interact with each guest instead of being an assembly line...autograph, picture, next, autograph, picture, next!:animwink:

And for the original question: Beast is another one who can't sign.

if you wanna REALLY push it, the beast can sign... or belle can sign for him...

I personally HATE autograph hunters.... mainly when they approach a character they've never seen and have no clue who it is... then throw the autograph book at the character... without having the decency to at least ASK for the autograph

That's why my kids didn't have an autograph book when we got a private visit with Belle and the Beast; I feel it takes too long and for what.......? MY step-son and his friend did have autograph books and Belle and the Beast both signed them. We got a nice photo op and let the boys spend time with the characters and that was nice.

BTW Rob, have you seen Nick lately?
