Where's the Crane? A Magic Kingdom Updates Thread.

Tonight I have only a few:

The crane next to Cinderella's Castle is...gone!

There is now a tarp up where the missing earthquake rock is.

There is a large steel structure erected behind where Little Mermaid E Ticket goes! It's a large rectangular frame about 20 Ft. tall, 40 Ft. Wide and 100 Ft. Long.

Club 626 was quieter this week...

All the rides, including Space Mountain and BTMRR were all 5 Minute waits!

Crane was still there all day. I don't think they had it up today but it was definitely there.

The steel frame is the show building for Mermaid going vertical.

That crane folds down and is usually stationed behind the castle near the walkway next to Sir Mickey's and I have even seen a construction wall surrounding it before. Did you look back there?

The crane was still there yesterday morning before we left.

I knew that there was a rock missing from the BTMRR cave-in scene, but you'd think they could get the other effects working in there. They don't even have the lights dimmed. The only earthquake effect working was the swinging lantern. I think that attraction needs some tlc. While cresting the top of the B-lift, the chain actually stopped and the train rolled back about 6 inches! (and stopped with a sharp jerk) We sat like that for about a full minute with no safety/warning spiel, then everything started going again and we continued on the ride.

It's a place with popular music blaring for people to dance dance to only at MNSSHP in the former home of Stitch's Supersonic Celebration

They were working through the night last week on both Pooh and Fland north.

The tarp was up in BTM last week too - but the whole show of lift C needs some TLC.

I agree! They should replace the tracks and make it real smooth like they did with Space Mountain a few years back! It's getting pretty jerky!

The crane should be gone by then. MNSSHP has its last day on Nov. 1st, then it's Christmas time throughout the World!

All the Xmas lights on the castle should all be up the day before(knowing Disney's technique, probably a few days to a week before)
