Now you have me drooling....I can't believe you didn't tape it!Captain Hank said:Actually, there was coverage of the opening ceremony on KTLA. For whatever reason, my college gets that channel, even though I go to college in NW Ohio. It was kind of cool. They had Bob Iger, Art Linkletter, Michael Eisner, and Julie Andrews speak. LeeAnne Rines sang the 50th theme song. Then, they did a live re-creation of the teaser commercial from the Rose Bowl parade, complete with motorcycle riding Stitch! The castle wasn't completely covered with a tarp, only the center part with the 50th emblem. I actually think the design of the castle overlay isn't nearly as gaudy as everyone feared--it looks pretty decent. Hopefully, a tape of the ceremony will surface somewhere.
Unfortunately, my VCR likes to eat tapes, so it's currently out of commission.SewIn2Disney said:Now you have me drooling....I can't believe you didn't tape it!
