Where's Roy and Minnie?

Well, the statue has been moved, to the location in which the picture I took is. It's in front of the bathrooms in between city hall and the fire station
Yup, I believe I addressed that a few posts ago. I had forgotten about the Christmas time connection. So yes, it does move for special occasions, but, 99% of the time it is right in the middle of the town square as shown here.

While on the subject of moving brass likenesses....

When I was there over New Years, I couldn't help but notice that whomever is in charge of the busts in DHS is allowing Cosby's bust to remain with the others. Anyone know if they plan on following suit with most other organizations and wiping his professional existence from the history books, or are they gonna allow it to remain?

As an American citizen that served in the military because I felt strongly about preserving our way of life, I'd kinda like to wait until he is convicted of something "legally" before I decide his guilt. I think that is what our system is supposed to do. If I didn't feel that way, I would have demanded the Captain EO be removed and burned in a public ceremony. I won't say it doesn't look bad for him, but, no one has gotten it to trial yet. Until then I plan on the old "innocent until proven guilty thing". Silly me!

Well said. It's amazing how no one mentions all of Bill Cosby's lifetime efforts supporting charities including Keep A Child Alive, Robert F Kennedy Memorial, and Children's Miracle Network Hospitals....et al.....

Well, I wouldn't count on it being removed since Rock and Roll Part 2 by Gary Glitter is still being played on the All Star Resort buses and he is a convicted child molester. Bill Cosby has only been accused but not convicted. I find it quite appalling that Disney, of all places, would play music of a child sex offender.

Yes, because donating to charity wipes out all bad deeds.

Thank you for your service. :)

As for Roy + Minnie, I'm sure they're just in for refurb.

Let's see...responding to a comment I find offensive on a subject off topic = not cool.
Acting like a moderator and being passive aggressive = OK!

Got it.

You worry about you and I'll worry about me.

Hey hey hey. I wasn't being condescending. And it wasn't particularly aimed at you. I just didn't join a Disney forum and come into this thread about a Disney statue to read about accused rapists. There's another place for that. No need to be so defensive all the time.
