I would love to work in the Guest Services areas in any of the 4 parks. The Studios has a great little one when you first walk in. Either that or work at one of the resorts..like Wilderness Lodge or Animal Kingdom Lodge! How much fun would that be. Anyone have any info on getting in down there to become a castmember. I would love to relocate from stinky New Jersey and go work for my favorite place on earth!
Thanks! Jen:wave:

I've mentioned this before, but I heard that the most requested job at WDW is being the guy to escort people off the bottom of Summit Plummit in Blizard Beach, becuase almost every day, at leat one lady loses her top after going down!

I've wanted to be a Disney Animator or Imagineer since I was really little. I'd be happy just to work in the parks though, Star Tours or the Haunted Mansion would be fun.

Epcot Conventions for me! Free food and plenty of guest interaction. Had a great time doing it and would do it again in a heart beat. :D

You all should give the casting network a call. you can get the number by calling the wdw reservation lines --- yes, they will give it to you --- or just go to your local disney store and ask a sales associate there for a phone number for the casting network. call and apply, send a resume, do whatever it takes.

Maybe you will be lucky enough to go down to "Casting" for an interview.

Also Disney offers college kids the opportunity to work through their "College Program" you can inquire about that also.

Right now, if I were in Florida I wouldn't really mind which part of the "World" I was working in - as long as it was outside, soaking up the rays !!

Heading for the great escape.
Training the park photographers and sorting out their digital imaging stuff,mmmmmm... infact ill send them my CV for next year.
Failing that Im willing to sample all the beers at Epcot on a daily basis to ensure quality control.

Id sweep the floors if it got me a job, god knows ive swept enough hangars over the years.

I would definetely go for entertainment, since my first love is the stage:singing, dancing, acting. I always dreamed of being those people who danced on stage in front of Cinderella's Castle :D

But, my second choice would be operations.

:D

Casting, so that I could hire more like the thousands I have seen and hundreds I have met, but also so I could keep out the 2 or 3 who didn't belong in the people business.

Hey, two or three out of thousands, Casting does a great job.:animwink: :sohappy:

Actually, getting the lesser wanted, boring jobs is sometimes the way to go, because it at least gets you into it. From there, you can move up to better jobs.

I want to help people into the doombuggies in the Haunted Mansion @ MK. At night they get to play with the guests and
act creepy and scary. Also, they get to wear those cool costumes! :D I love the dresses. Really. :) When I was there
in 2000 the CM that loaded us on scared me after we
were in our doombuggy and I want his job!

Only 101 more days to go!!

You bet! I LOVED being a Custodial! Since the costumes were the same everywhere, me and another guy used to walk around the WHOLE park on slow days, just cleaning and interacting with Guests and checking things out. :D
