so let me give you the low down, basically my partner and i are going for 14 nights in September staying at PORS we were due to fly back the the UK on Tuesday 1st October, however after speaking with work, manged to get a few extra days off work, resulting in us extending our holiday until Friday 4th October, for believe it or not only an extra £50 to get our flight changed, so for those extra 3 nights, we are currently undecided where to stay, either carry on staying on Disney, move on to International Drive, or go up and stop at Universal, asking for opinions and ideas please.

Thank you in Advance

Staying on I-Drive could be something different and fun. If you subscribe to mousesavers.com you can get special deals for certain hotels and allears.net too. I haven't done Universal or Seaworld in years so I am not very familiar with the rest or Orlando. However, Universal Citywalk is a fun visit in itself. Lots of shopping and fun themed restaurants/ bars. There hotels in that area that run shuttles to help you avoid a parking cost. I always see good deals on hotels.com for Orlando also. Good luck planning!

Let me see if I understand this. 17 nights in Orlando and you're seriously considering doing only WDW?

With that many nights, try something, anything, different. Uni, SeaWorld, I-Drive, whatever. How about this:

Extend your stay at WDW for 3 more nights, perhaps try another resort (Coronado Springs or, if you can swing it, one of the Epcot or Monorail Deluxe Resorts). But, sometime in the middle of the trip, rent a car for a few days and do some Orlando exploring. Maybe even drive to the Florida beaches or the Kennedy Space Center.

well we have 14 days unlimited with, uni parks, Disney, Sea world, Aquatica and bush gardens, we will obviously use our 14 days unlimited Disney passes first as we will go there the first full day we have, then would be our Sea World/Aquatic as i don't think we will use a full 14 days there, (we was considering selling them to one of the many ticket booths) leaving Uni park tickets until later on in the first week, meaning we would have them for those extra few days we have, so was thinking of moving on up higher on I-drive or Universal it self, due to the fact there would be more to see and do im guessing, also heard of the Halloween nights at Universal, so i think we are torn between saving an extra few pound and staying the top of i-drive or paying the extra for Universal.

If you haven't been to Florida before,I'd spend the extra 3 days on I- Drive..Do some shopping in the Malls, maybe take a day at Seaworld.Id recommend the Wyndham Orlando..And get tickets for the I- Drive bus,it's like a tram that runs the full length of the drive..very cheap..

ROFL..Hatter there are folks that live in Orlando that dont have the knowledge you do! Well Done my friend and great advice. Universal and City Walk would give a couple days of entertainment /Shopping if they still wanted to do Theme parks..see Harry Potter and Dr Suess.

And if you are going to explore other Orlando area attractions that are not Disney you should get the free discount card. http://www.visitorlando.com/discoun.../?s_kwcid=TC&gclid=COrFpo-B3LcCFZOk4Aod2H0AYQ It saved us $ going to Gatorland and a couple other attractions. Sea World Tickets usually have the best deal online and keep a look out for promo codes for better % off. Uni is fun but I haven't been back to it since right before Islands of Adventure opened.

The card is free and I didn't think much about it until we were down there. Can't hurt to get one. You only need one per party. It has no barcode all you have to do is show that you have it and the discount (if there is one) is granted.
