:wave: Hi all! This is my first trip to Disney during Thanksgiving. I know that there are tons of restaurants, but where is a really good place to go with my husband, brother and future (getting engaged while in Disney on this trip) sister in law? :hammer:

Dining for Thanksgiving

I'd like to recommend the Liberty Tree Tavern in Liberty Square in Magic Kingdom for Thanksgiving dining. We actually are also going during Thanksgiving and that's where we'll be. It feels like a good ole fashioned home cooked meal which is nice when you're away for the holiday.

I would make one just for the reason it's going to be holiday time and this particular restaurant with their homestyle Thanksgiving-esque foods could be very popular. And I don't think this one requires a credit card.

Actually, most Table Service areas WILL require a credit card number in order to make the booking on Thanksgiving Day, as well as most of the holiday season, as those times will be extraordinarily popular.

I like that type of approach. A similar type alternative would be 50's Prime Time Cafe that also gives that family type atmosphere.

More formal dining options can be found at;

The Liberty Tree Tavern is wonderful... We had Thanksgiving there a few years ago, but it was also VERY crowded for dinner. We had to wait a long while for our table.. 30+ minutes after our PS, we arrived early, so it was more like 45 minutes from check in. We will be at Disney for Thanksgiving again this year, and will be eating at the Garden Grill. We chose the GG because we will be staying near Epcot and because I really missed having a glass of wine with Thanksgiving Dinner. It is served "family style" just like the Liberty Tree, and has Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Goofy. I think that it might also be a little cheaper, because they include dessert. Keep in mind that 90 days prior to Thanksgiving is on Friday, wake up early and call Disney at 7:00AM for you PS.
