I've been there, and I must agree, it does. It fits the Adventureland theme perfectly. If it is made in MGM, it won't have to follow the story line of the movies because the original ride has certain points in the ride that is strait out of the movies ( rollong ball, spike chamber, poisen darts, etc. ) Take Star Tours for example.

Nah, they should put it in MGM and have the announcement of the ride coincide (sp?) with the release of Indy 4. Yeah, I said "announcement". You can't possibly put an attraction this big and have it up for next year. So, an announcement would seem logical if it were ever to be built. :(

Is Indy 4 scheduled to come out next year?

Wow, still that cool. I didn't know that anything was actually official yet. If its a big hit, WDW is sure to put in the ride. :sohappy:

Steven Spielburg wants his old pal George Lucas, who helped him in the other Indy films, to help him with this one. But George wants to finnish up the last Star Wars movie.

Yeah, I had heard that. So then how far along is the movie, do you know?

WELL IF THE MOVIE LOOKS LIKE ITS IN THE 2005 TIMEFRAME, THEN THERES ALWAYS THE CHANCE THAT AN INDY ATTRACTION COULD OPEN AROUND THE SAME TIME RIGHT? -ITS A LONGSHOT, BUT YA NEVER KNOW...:veryconfu

Sure, it could open by the time the movie comes out. As long as they announce it within the next couple of months........

(Does anybody know why we don't have an Indy attraction in the first place?)

I believe it should be in Asia in Animal Kingdom. Animal Kingdom is approaching its 5th birthday and I think it is in need of more rides. New rides that will help keep the adventurers long after 4pm.

Well, there have been the rumors flying around that Forbidden Mountain will arrive in AK soon.

I know and have read all about it. However this may be a good start but wont keep custumers in the park for 3 hours more. I propose that Animal Kingdom have beastly kingdom back on track.

adventureland needs it, but take a look at the MK map!!!

theres no room!

unless they take off some land from the jungle cruise...that alone takes up half of the land

and it would take some of the congestion away from tomorrowland

Well, if your talking about the park maps they give out, they don't really give an accurate representation of how much room there is. I am personally not sure if there is or not, but don't use that map, it can be decieving as it is not really to scale.

Well, at least the maps tell you where to go. I believe Disney can pull this off by taking some of the jungle cruise so they can make at least the queue.

Ill first give my reasons against AK and MK. The Animal Kingdom really in actuality needs a ride BETTER than Indy. Now before everyone goes bonkers on me let me explain  With Dinosaur being toned down (still unforgivable in my opinion) and Kali River Rapids while extremely fun, somewhat tame, the AK really needs a THRILL ride. Something, in my opinion since the CTX-Dinosaur change, that it completely lacks. An inverted coaster, flying coaster, drop ride, etc.... is what AK needs right now more than anything. Indy would fit wonderfully in the MK but in my opinion they should focus KEEPING the attractions already there (Alien Encounter (in its current form), Timekeeper, and Carousel of Progress come to mind) before worrying about building new ones.

So now why I voted for MGM. With the Rock 'N' Roller Coaster, Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and at night Fantasmic all in basically the same area there is always a major clog in Sunset Blvd. There also seems to be a little bit of crowd decline at Star Tours, Muppet Vision 3-D, and to a lesser extent Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectatular. So what if the new Star Tours film and a new Indiana Jones ride opened around the same time. I believe we would see MUCH better park crowd flow. It would probably increase attendence at the attractions mentioned aboe and that would also increase attendence in the attractions in between (Sounds Dangerous, Great Movie Ride, if something finally goes into the ABC Theatre  ). I really think that addition would really benefit MGM more than any other park right now so they could focus their attention on boosting AK and Epcot attendence over the next 10 years or so. In a way it would sort of "complete" MGM for the near future. Anyone else agree with me on my points?
