I am unsure of how the Vikings will fair in the game. The Vikings haven't been very consistent this year but I do hope they can pull of the win against the Bears. So I'm hopeful but realistic. My husband is a avid Bears fan, since he grew up in the Chicago area. I know that the Bears winning means more to him than it would be to me to have the Vikes win so in a way I am okay with the Vikes losing because it would make my husband so happy. If the Eagles and VIkings do end up playing each other it would be interesting to have that playoff rematch.

Thanks for asking how I'm feeling. My back is still bothersome but I'm not in as much pain as the last couple days. I have been sleeping in the recliner because it is more comfortable than the bed. I tried last night but only made it until about midnight then I transferred to the recliner. I'm hoping tonight I can sleep in my bed again.

Thanks for the pictures. I looked at them last night and enjoyed them but I was in a haze from the pills I took for my back, so I just got done looking at all your pictures you posted and I think it wall looked wonderful. :)

No white christmas for us. We might get some flakes tonight but nothing notable. However on Wednesday night -Friday we are supposed to get a big snowstorm in our area. We will be down in the Chicago area visiting the in-laws and miss the storm, but we might be driving through the last bit of it on Friday afternoon to get home.

Nope, and I am absolutely fine with that. Temps today, though chilly this morning, should reach the mid 50's. Shorts weather. If I get nostalgic about having a white Christmas I will play Bing singing about wanting one. That will fix it all.

I stood up from a chair and something in my back tweaked. Right when it happened I could barely walk and I was in a lot of pain. That was on Saturday morning. It is feeling better right now, still a little achy. I haven't been able to get all the stuff I wanted to do for Christmas done fast, but it is all done. The exception is I always decorate the dining room table really fancy for our dinner and use my good china. I don't want to get down on the floor to get the china out of the storage area and I don't trust hubs to handle it. So it is paper plates and my vinyl Christmas tablecloth. But the food will taste just as good, clean up will be easier, and the company will be wonderful.

I’m doing paper plates too ... mostly because I’m lazy.

Must be - my hip is now hurting worse than my knee. At rest anyway. 😂

I will certainly be more mobile on our upcoming trip than I was in NY last week.
