Us neither. I put out all the ground reachable lights on the last warm day we had, but it was too windy to go up on a ladder. Since then it’s been too darn cold...I have a bad feeling I’m not even getting my eavestrough lights this year.![]()

I was happy to see the Christmas decorations had finished going up at church. I’m really going to mis St. Andrew’s. The couple I sit next to told me that I’m welcome to stay with them whenever I want to visit. I think I’ll have to take them up on that offer.

I’m not a big fan of the Group of Seven style, but I did enjoy our grade 7 trip to the McMichael Collection in Kleinburg.@JenniferS , that was an interesting plaque dedicated to Lawren Harris. I never realized before, that there was a movement toward a distinctively Canadian style of landscape art. This is why I like plaques; they always have unique facts to share.![]()
What about former Wisconsin governor Tommy Thompson?I’m not a big fan of the Group of Seven style, but I did enjoy our grade 7 trip to the McMichael Collection in Kleinburg.
I always forget that Emily Carr was never an “official” member of the GoS. Hers is the first name I always list.

If you go to school in Canada, Ontario especially, studying the Group of Seven at some point is pretty much guaranteed.

My dad was a huge Tom Thompson fan. (I went to school with a Tom Thompson in the 70’s, but I’m pretty sure it was a different guy.)
That Christmas tree is beautiful. All the decorations look so nice--that's a large church to decorate. Hoping you and your family have a happy holiday season.
Our last full day here - probably eagling one more time![]()
You need to apply the old Bugs Bunny approach: One for you, one for me. Two for you. One, two for me.One gift wrapped. One baklava eaten.
I see this being problematic. I have more gifts than baklava!

I prefer the George Harrison/"Taxman" approach: There's one for you, 19 for me.You need to apply the old Bugs Bunny approach: One for you, one for me. Two for you. One, two for me.
Oh....the baklava is too much of a distraction....you should get rid of it so you can focus on gift wrapping. You can mail it to me.One gift wrapped. One baklava eaten.
